    Robert F. Wemple, Sr. of Seminole, FL, formerly of Burt, NY, husband of the late Joan Aikin Wemple and Patricia Ferington Wemple, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 in Largo Medical Center. He was born in Lockport, NY on August 11, 1937, the son of the late William and Gertrude Mahar Wemple.
    Bob worked at Harrison Radiator for 39 years. He was Past President of Olcott Lions Club Olcott Beach, NY. He moved to Florida in 1994 from Burt, NY. He enjoyed bowling and spending time with family and friends.
    Soul mate of Nadine Gordon of Seminole, FL. Father of Darlene Wemple and Steven Wemple, both of Lockport, Laura (Richard) Rutland of Newfane, NY and Robert (Sandy) Wemple, Jr. of Hendersonville, TN. Grandfather of Michael (Laura) Goodlander, Emily (Nicholas) Kilkenny, Steven and Meghan Wemple, Ashley and Richie Rutland and Jeremy and Katelin Wemple. Brother of Richard (Donna) Wemple of Kettering, OH, Mary Lou (James) Vanderbeck of St. Petersburg, FL and the late Gary Wemple, Nancy Graham and Margaret Bisher. Brother-in-law of LeRoy Bisher of Newfane, NY. Also survived by Nadine's children, Sari (Scott) Gordon of Highland Park, IL and Wayne (Lizzie) Wolf of Lakewood, CO and their children, Melanie, Brittney, Michael and Carli and six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Inurnment will be in St. Charles Cemetery. Memorials to Olcott Lions Club, P.O. Box 316, Olcott, NY 14126 would be appreciated by the family.

    LOCKPORT—Services for
    Herbert R. Aiken, 53, of 96
    Slayton Settlement Rd., will
    be held at 2 p.m. Monday at
    the Gaul Funeral Home. Mr.
    Aiken suffered a fatal heart
    attack Friday (June 17, 1960)
    while driving an empty school
    bus.
    The Rev. Clarence E. Gee,
    D.D., of Wrights Corners Presbyterian
    Church, will officiate.
    Burial will be in Wrights
    Cornets-Cemetery.-—
    Mr. Aiken was stricken en
    route to Lockport Friday after
    discharging a group of students
    at Royalton-Hartland
    Central S c h o o l . The bus
    crashed Into a tree in Mountain
    Rd. just west of Peet St.,
    Town of Royalton.
    Born in Lockport Oct. 8,
    1908, Mr. Aiken was the son
    of the late Richard and Clara
    Richards Aiken. He operated
    a farm in Slayton Settlement
    Rd. until his retirement in
    1958. For the last four years,
    he operated a bus in the Roy-
    Hart district for the Ridge
    Rd. Express Co.
    Survivors include his wife,
    the former F l o r e n c e E.
    Swann; a son, Herbert R. Aiken
    Jr., Lockport; three daughters,
    Mrs. Herbert Reed and
    Mrs. Robert Wemple, both of
    Olcott; and Mrs. Robert
    Branch, Lockport; three
    brothers Stacy and Raymond
    Aiken, both of Lockport, and
    Elton Aiken, Buffalo; two sis-'
    ters, Miss Florence Aiken and
    Miss Grace Aiken, both of
    Lockport, and 13 grandchildren.

    EAST WILSON—Harry J. Swann,
    64 years old. died last evening at
    7:30 o'clock at his home on the
    George Plumb farm, Town Line
    road! after heart disease suffered
    for the last year. Funeral services
    will be held Saturday afternoon at
    2 o'clock at.the home. The Rev.
    Mr. Olessner, of Lyndonvllle. will
    officiate. Interment will be in
    Somerset cemetery.
    Mr. Swann was formerly a baker
    at Wilson. He was born In Trenton.
    N. J., but had resided In this vicinity
    for the last 20 years.
    He Is survived by his wife. Mrs.
    Bessie Swann, at home; four daughters.
