    Robert E. Boissenin passed away on January 9, 2021. He was born in Lockport, New York a son of the late Elger and Elizabeth (Howard) Boissenin.
    Bob as he was affectionately known was a machine repairman at Harrison Radiator in Lockport. He loved golfing, hunting, fishing, going to the races at Ransomville speedway but most of all traveling with his wife.
    Bob is predeceased by his wife Jacquelyn (Arnold) Boissenin; daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth (John) Seib; great granddaughter Serenity Rose and several siblings. He is survived by his children Laura (John) Werth, Steven (Michelle) Boissenin; grandchildren Michael Seib, Matthew (Jennifer) Seib, Christina Werth, Jacob Werth, Brandon (Mandy) Werth, Kelly Werth, William (Jessica) Fahs, Tyler Boissenin, Kristin Fahs, Rachel Fahs and 8 great grandchildren; his sister Elizabeth (James) Condren; Bob is also survived by his good friend Mark Suita.

    LOCKPORT — Jacquelyn Faye (Arnold) Boissenin passed away on December 24, 2011 in Newfane Rehab & Health Care Center. Born in Fostoria, OH, on September 18, 1935, she was the daughter of Jeanne (Jacobus) and James Arnold.

    Jacquelyn worked at Lockport Felt and Ferree Plastics before retiring in 1979. She had several interests and especially loved being with her family.

    Jacquelyn is survived by loving husband, Robert, whom she married on July 8, 1963; mother of Elizabeth Seib, Laura (John) Werth, Steven (Michelle) Boissenin; step-mother of Norma (Steven) Sturtevant and Terrence (Judy) Wittcop; grandmother of Micheal Seib, Matthew (Jennifer) Seib, Christina Werth, Kelly Werth, Jacob Werth, Brandon Werth, William Fahs, Tyler Boissenin, Kristin Fahs, Rachel Fahs, and eight great-grandchildren; also survived by her sisters, Sharon (John) Neri and Sandra (Keith) Wright; and brothers, Larry Arnold and Patrick Arnold; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by both parents; a sister, Patricia Cullen; a brother, James Arnold, Jr.; and a step-daughter, Cheryl Feuersanger.

    Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM.     LOCKPORT - A Mass of Christian Burial for Elger J. Boissenin, 77, of Carolina Avenue, a retire employee of the ormer Flintkite Co., was offered today in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial was in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.
    Boissenin died Tuesday (July 23, 1991) in Lockport Memorial Hospital.
    Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth M.; three sons, Elger, Jr. of Tonawanda, Robert of Newfane and Lloyd J.; two daughters, Elizabeth Condren of Newfane and Sandra; a brother, Lowell of Leesburg, Fla.; a stepbrother, Eugene Webb of Gasport; a sister, Dena Lopez of Lockport; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

    Merle R. Melcher Sr., 66, of
    31 Pennsylvania Ave., a retired
    engineer at Niagara County
    Fruit Co., died unexpectedly
    this morning (Oct. 14, 1968) at
    his home.
    The fire department rescue
    squad was called at 8:16 a.m.,
    but reported Mr. Melcher was
    dead when they arrived.
    Born Jan. 5, 1902 in Wilson,
    he was the husband of the late
    Margaret Bootes Melcher, who
    died in 1951.
    Mr. Melcher was employed
    for 35 years at the Niagara
    County Fruit Co. and retired in
    1964. He had been a rural route
    carrier for the Buffalo Courier-
    Express until the time of his
    death.
    He is survived by nine daughters
    and five sons, Mrs. Lester
    (Alfreda) Hatch, Mrs. James
