NORTH TONAWANDA — Antonia E. "Toni" Caya, formerly of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011, in Autumnview Health Care Facility, Hamburg, NY. She was born in Marshfield, VT, on July 27, 1927, a daughter of the late Albert and Rose (Goupil) Routhier. Toni was employed with Georgia Pacific for over 22 years and with Daycare in Niagara Falls for three years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards and bingo.
Toni is survived by two sons, Wayne M. (Rosann) Caya of Mocksville, NC and Mark S. (Debbie) Caya of Tehachapi, CA; four daughters, Carol A. (John Kurz) Scozzafava of Hamburg, NY, Nancy M. (Todd) Ansteth of Las Vegas, NV, Margaret R. Thomas of Vinton, VA and Deborah L. (Carl) LaShomb of North Tonawanda, NY; three brothers, Jerry Routhier, Ernie (Donna) Routhier and Gus Routhier; four sisters, Verna (Corkie) Crumwell, Paulene (Chuck) Furman, Irene Staczk and Madeline Eiss; she is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lill Millett, Rene Routhier and Rita Messier.
The family will be present on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 8:45 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM at St. Christopher's Church, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tonawanda, NY. Memorials may be made in her name to Hospice Buffalo, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.

of their daughter. Antonia. to

The wedding took, place Thanksgiving
day at Our Lady of the Rosary
church, with the Rev. John J.
F. Collins officiating at the Nuptial
High Mass.
Given In marriage by her father,
the bride .wore a gown fashioned
with a white satin bodice, with an
Illusion neckline trimmed with
white beads and a white marqui-
sette bustle effect skirt and train.
Her lace-edged fingertip veil fell
from a tiara of seed pearls and she
carried a bouquet of white carna-
tions, centered with gardenias.
Miss Regina Gaya, cousin of the
brklegroom, was the maid ol honor,
wearing a pale blue silk gown and
a pink flowered crown with a short
veil. Her bouquet was, of pink carnations.
The bridesmaids. Miss Jean.Degord
and Miss Mary Rotella, wore
pink gowns with blue flowered
crowns and carried bouquets of amber
chrysanthemums.
Mary Lavern Goulah was the
flower girl, wearing a blue taffetaa
gown trimmed with small pink bows
and a matching bonnet. She car-
ried a colonial bouquet.
Mr. Henry Gaya was best man for
his brother and ushers included Mr.
Keith Tatro and Mr. Jerry Routhier,
brother of the bride. Ernest Rou-
thier was the ring bearer.
The bride's mother wore a gray
crepe dress, while the bridegroom's
mother wore a beige gabardine dress
with brown accessories. Both had
corsages of yellow chrysanthemums.
Following the ceremony, a recep-
tion was held at the home of the
bride.
