    A lovely summer wedding was solemnized
    Saturday afternoon at St.
    James Methodist church, when Miss
    Nancy Lee Farr, daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. Forrest H. Farr, Woodlawn
    avenue, became the bride of Mr.
    Donald Tompkins, son of Mr. and
    Mrs. WllbeT Tompkins, Sanborn.
    The Rer. Chester C. Beebe officiated
    at the double ring ceremony
    before the altar which was decorated
    with baskets of pink snapdragons
    and white carnations.
    The musical setting for the ceremony
    was provided by Mr. Earl
    Browneli at the organ, and Mr
    Vaughr^Chlnnock, as "soloisC singing
    "I Lore You Truly" and "Oh Promise
    Me."
    The bride, who was escorted by
    her father, wore a gown of max
    quisette with illusion neckline and
    double ruffle, caught with tiny
    gathers at either shoulder. Mar
    quisette ruffles trimmed the back of
    the bouffant skirt and edged the
    full cathedral length train, Her-veil
    of imported silk .illusion was daintily
    trimrhed with satin and fell from
    a small lace cap. She carried a'bouquet
    of white carnations and babies'
    breath centered with an orchid;
    Mrs. Edward. DeVantier, Jr., sister
    of the bride, and matron of honor,
    wore a gown of paje yellow mar
    quisette, on the same, lines as_the
    bride's gown, with a halo of match
    Ing net entwined with lllies-of-the
    valley.
    In matching costumes the'brides
    maids, Miss Jean Bookout and Miss
    Gail Farr, sister of the bride, wore
    orchid and green, respectively. Each
    carried an arm bouquet of tinted
    carnations.
    The bridegroom was attended by
    Lester Wagner, Sanborn, and Mr.
    Jack Hartman and Mr. Edward DeVantier,
    Jr.. this city, acted as ushers.
    The bride's mother wore a navy
    blue print with sheer redlngote. She
    wore a navy straw picture hat and
    matching shantung accessories. Her
    corsage was of pink roses and babies'
    breath. The bridegroom's mother
    favored a sheer print with white
    hat trimmed with aqua flowers. Her
    accessories were white. She wore a
    corsage of yellow roses and babies'
    breath.
    A reception was held at the home
    of the bride from 3 to 5 o'clock, for
    more than 100 guests.
    For traveling, the bride chose a
    blue gabardine suit with natural
    straw picture hat, shantung accessories
    and orchid corsage.
    After a trip through the southern
    states the couple will reside in Nash
    road, Town of Niagara.
