the Catskill Mountains is
the choice of Mr. and Mrs.
Melvin L. Alcorn who were
married yesterday afternoon
(Nov. 9, 1957). The bride
is the former Miss Carole
Anne Johnson.
The First Presbyterian Church
was the scene of the wedding.
The Rev. Charles C. Berryhill
officiated.

A pale yellow ballerina-length
gown of nylon chiffon over taf-
feta .was worn by the former
Miss Johnson.. A small white
feather-headband and white
prayerbook: adorned with gardenias
and satin streamers completed
her bridal ensemble.
MRS. JOSEPH PEREZ was
matron of honor. Mrs. Perez
was attired in a two-tone shrimpcolored
gown styled similarly to
the bride's. She carried a colonial
bouquet of yellow giant
mums:
Lloyd A l c o r n attended his
brother as best man. Peter Fleming,
the bride's brother, was usher.

A RECEPTION was held last
night at the home of the bride's
parents. .The house was graced
with bridal bells and bouquets of
colored" mums.
Mrs, Fleming received in a
toast colored sheath dress which
she complemented with white accessories.
A corsage of Pinnochio
rosebuds completed her costume.
Mrs. Alcorn, the mother
of the bridegroom, was attired
in an orchid sheath dress,
black accessories and y e l l ow
rosebud corsage.

and winter white coat formed
the bride's traveling costume.
She wore a corsage of gardenias.
The newlyweds will m a ke
