    View H o s p i t a l , Lock-port,
    where she had been a patient
    for five weeks.
    Mrs. Alvers, a licensed realtor,
    had operated a real estatae
    business in this community.
    She was born May 30, in
    Castile, N.Y„ the daughter of
    Ezekiel and Abiguil Hutchinson
    Billings. She married
    George William Alvers in 1915
    and moved here.
    She is survived by a daugh-
    ter, Mrs. Mildred Remball,
    Kinderhok, N.Y., a son, George
    W. Alvers, this community,
    two sisters, Mrs. Howard
    Houghton, Perry, N.Y., Mrs.
    Lillian Ziems, Buffalo; two
    brothers, Frank Billings,
    Perry, N..Y., and Moore Bil-
    lings, Warsaw, N.Y.; and eight
    grandchildren.
    The family will be present
    from 2-4 and 7-9 at the
    Hamilton and Clark Funeral
    Chapel where services will be
    conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday
    by Rev. Paul Huyett of the
    Exley Methodist Church. Bu-
    rial will be in Greenwood
    Cemetery, Wilson.

    Isabel Alvers, 85 years old, who died
    here on Wednesday, will be held at the
    home of her son, Georga Alvers, this
    afternoon.

    Ezekial Billings, a life long resident
    of the town, passed away last Thursday
    at the home of John Mead in War
    saw where he and Mrs. Billings had
    been staying since last October,
    Mr. Billings was born in Castile,
    February 18th 1852 eldest son'of Par-
    Son and Sarah Phillips Billings. He
    was twice married first to Abigail
    Hutchinson who died in 1907. In 1910
    he married Hattie Alvers who survives
    him. Besides the wife, he leaves
    six children, Mrs. Hattie Anthony of
    Buffalo. Mrs. Lillian Ziens of San An
    tonio, Texas, Mrs. Mary Alvers of Wil
    son. K. Y.„ Mrs. Bessie Houghton,
    Frank and Moore Billings of Ferry.
    He also leaves five brothers and three
    sisters: Edson Billings of Lament;
    Elijah, Joseph and Reuben Billings of
    Castile, Mrs. Mary Phillips of Westfield,
    Mrs, Nellie Wolfer of Centerville
    and Mrs. Mildred Bemish of Fredonia.
    The funeral service was held at his
    home in this village Sunday afternoon
    at two o'clock and the interment
    was in the Castile cemetery.
