    Leah Alvord Pettis of Kenmore
    who died oh Nov. 26 at the age
    of 84.
    She is survived by her
    husband, Henry W. Pettis and
    three daughters, Mrs. Ailene
    Riedell of Kenmore, Mrs.
    Marcia Jackson, California and
    Mrs. Barbara Bukowski of
    Dansville; also a sister, Mrs.
    Lois Shepherd, Orchard Manor
    Nursing Home, Medina.
    Mr. and Mrs. Pettis were
    residents of Millers many years
    where they operated a grocery
    and (unreadable) before
    moving to Kenmore.

    LOCKPORT, April 8-Funeral
    services for Arza P. Alvord, 77, who
    died at his home at Jeddo Saturday,
    will be held tomorrow afternoon
    at the family home, with interment
    in Hartland Central cemetery.
    The Rev. C. W. Hemmlng-
    Way, of the Hartland Baptist
    church, will officiate.
    Mr. Alvord was a lifelong resident
    of Jeddo and was active ln farming
    up to a few years ago, when he
    retired because of ill health. He Is
    survived by his wife. Mrs. Carrie
    Wright Alvord. And two daughters.
    Mrs. Claude Shepard, of the Mill
    road, and Mrs. Henry Pettis, of
    Kenmore

    Minnie Advord. wife of Mr. Arza
    Alvord, who died Thursday, aged
    45 years, was held Saturday afternoon
    at the family home and was
    largely attended ; the Rev. J
    Bauer officiated and the interment
    was at Hartland Central cemetery.
    The deceased is survived by a hus-
    hand, and mother, Mrs. Lambert
    Sturges, of Johnson Creek.
