RICHARD W. SIEGMANN, age 88 of Wheatfield, NY, was called peacefully to his heavenly home on April 22, 2021 after a lengthy illness. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on July 2, 1932; son of the late William and Martha (Jagow) Siegmann. A lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wheatfield, he served in the United States Army and was a decorated Korean combat veteran. Richard was a member of the American Legion Wheatfield Post 1451, St. Johnsburg Volunteer Fire Company for 66 years, and Local 210 for over 60 years, working in construction until his retirement.Survivors include his loving wife, Jean (Martin) Siegmann; four children, Cindy (Delmar) Jones, Richard (Lynne) Siegmann, Timothy (Brenda) Siegmann, and Paul (Jackie) Siegmann; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a sister in law, RoseMary Siegmann; and cousin, Roger (Judy) Siegmann.Predeceased by a twin brother, Donald Siegmann, Clarice (Richard) Poerschke, Melvin (Mae) Siegmann, Irma (Darl) England, Harold (Vivian) Siegmann, and Mildred (Leo) Witkop.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael Borgstede, on Sunday (April 25) at 11:00 a.m. in St. John Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Falls Blvd. and Ward Road. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church, or Hospice. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at the Schofield Residence, and Hospice.

WHEATFIELD — Lois Ruth (Stange) Everett, age 81, of Wheatfield, was called home to her heavenly Lord on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Crestwood Assisted Living Residence, after a five-year stay. Born in North Tonawanda, NY, on January 19, 1931 to the late Paul and Ruth (Holland) Stange.

She was a high school graduate and devoted friend. Lois was united in marriage to Howard Everett on September 16, 1950 and he was called home on January 20, 1994. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, in North Tonawanda and was a longtime former member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, in North Tonawanda. Lois was also a longtime member of the St. Johnsburg Fire Company-Ladies Auxiliary, Wheatfield Senior Citizens, and served as president on the Crestwood Resident Council. She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed traveling, playing cards, gardening, ceramics,but her greatest love was spending time with her family.

She was the loving mother of three children, Deborah (Paul Pignatora) Hall of Cheektowaga, Keith (Rebecca) Everett of Grand Island and Lynne (Richard) Siegmann of Wheatfield; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Christman, Michael Hall, Jason, Justin and Joshua Everett, Samantha (fiancee Michael Schimshack) Siegmann and Lindsay Siegmann; two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Victoria Christman; and also survived by her wonderful friends and staff at Crestwood.

Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. A.W. Moldenhauer, on Friday, February 10th at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery. SIEGMANN – William C. Siegmann, 80, died Monday (Sept. 14, 1964) at his residence, 6668 Errick Road, Town of Wheatfield. He is survived by his wife, Martha (nee Jagow); three daughters, Mrs. Leo (Mildred) Witkop, Town of Wheatfield, Mrs. Carl (Erma) England of Sanborn and Mrs. Richard (Clarice) Poerschke of North Tonawanda; four sons, Harold of North Tonawanda and Melvin, Donald and Richard Siegmann of the Town of Wheatfield; 22 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Anna Jagow of the Town of Pendleton, and a brother, Henry Siegmann of the Town of Wheatfield. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Road, where services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Clarence W. Rabe will officiate. Martha A. Siegmann, 103, formerly of Errick Road, died Thursday (April 30, 1998) in Northgate Manor Nursing Home, where she had lived since 1985.
A lifelong resident of Wheatfield, the former Martha A. Jagow was the oldest living member of St. John Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Siegmann also was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and enjoyed baking and gardening. Her husband, William C., died in 1964.
Survivors include four sons, Harold, Melvin, Donald.....a daughter, Clarice Poerschke; 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday in St. John Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls Boulevard and Ward Road. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

William August Martin, 54, of 690 Ruie Rd., died Monday morning in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of the Town of Wheatfield.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St., the Rev. William Saye officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
