    carnations decorated the altar
    of St. Stephen's Church
    in Middleport when Miss
    Mary Pamela Tylec became
    the bride of David Michael
    Belfield at 11 a.m. Saturday,
    Oct. 19, 1968.
    The Rev. Edwin Simons
    officiated at the double-ring
    ceremony. Mrs. Nelson Darroch
    was organist.
    The bride is the daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley
    Tylec of 27 Church St., Middleport.
    The bridegroom is
    the son of Mrs. Louis Belfield
    Sr., of 7790 Chestnut
    Ridge Road, Gasport, and
    the late Mr. Belfield.
    Mr. Tylec gave his daughter
    in marriage. She wore
    a long sleeved A-line peau
    de soie gown enhanced with
    appliques of Alencon lace
    and seed pearls. A silk illusion
    veil with appliques of
    Alencon lace formed her
    headpiece and she carried
    white roses, white carnations
    and stephanotis.
    Miss Colleen Tylec was
    honor attendant. She wore a
    silver gray moire taffeta
    gown with burgundy velvet
    buttons.
    Bridesmaids were Miss
    Pat Tylec, Mrs. Kenneth
    Marks and Miss Kathleen
    Dreher.
    Philip Belfield was best
    man. Ushers were Kenneth
    Belfield, Robert Belfield and
    Vincent Tylec.
    A breakfast following the
    ceremony was held at the
    Apple Grove Inn. A reception
    was held at the Knights
    of Columbus in Medina.
    After a trip to the Pocono
    Mountains, the couple
    will make their home at 8431
    Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls.
    The bride is a graduate
    of Cobleskill University and
    is presently a teacher at the
    Cerebral Palsy Assn. of Western
    New York at Buffalo.
    The bridegroom has been
    in the coast guard for four
    years and is presently serving
    on the Niagara Falls Po-
    lice Force.
