    Miss Irma .Evelyn Amsdill of this village
    and George Russell Wilson of Jersey
    City. N. J . were quietly united in
    marriage at 8:30 o'clock last Saturday
    evening, a t . t h e home of the bride's parents,
    Mr. and Mrs. Frank Amsdill. in
    South Lake street, the Rev. D. C. Flatt
    of the local M. E. church performing
    the ceremony in the presence of only
    the immediate relatives. The bride and
    groom were unattended. The bride
    wore a dark blue traveling suit and hat
    to match. A luncheon followed the
    ceremony, covers being laid for twelve.
    Later. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson departed
    for a fortnight's trip to New York. City
    and Jer:iey City, after which they will
    return to Ransomville.

    RANSOMVILLE-W. Franklin
    Amsdill, 88, of S. Lake St,
    a native of this hamlet, died
    Thursday (April 14, 1960) at
    his home. He had been in falling
    nealth since January.
    Mr. Amsdill was bom March
    23, 1872, son of Eli and Elizabeth
    Amsdilt His wife, Ida
    Mae Chalcraft Amsdill died
    in 1945. He worked on area
    farms for many years and was
    an engineer at the Cataract
    ice Co., Niagara Falls, for 15
    years prior to his retirement
    in 1957.
    He has resided in S. Lake
    St.. with his daughter and son-
    in-law, Mr, and Mrs, George
    Wilson, for the last 32 years.
    Mr, Amsdill was a member
    of Ransomville Metbodist
    church and of its men's class.
    He was formerly a member
    of ^Modern Woodmen of thfe
    World,
    In addition to the daughter,
    Mrs.,Wilson; survivors include
    another daughter* Mrs.Henrietta;
    French, Lewiston; a
    granddaughter and - a great
    granddaughter..
    Funeral services will be held
    at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hardlsoh
    FuheraJ Home, the Rev;
    Howard A, Pasel officiating.
    Burial will be in North Ridge
    Cemetery.
