    William A. Andrees "Bill"Age 99, of the Town of Porter, NY, was called peacefully to his heavenly home on November 3, 2022, at his residence. Bill was the son of the late William C. and Florence (Heschke) Andrees, the brother of the late Edward W. (Arlene) Andrees and the late Virginia (Richard) Lemke. He was predeceased by his loving wife Dolores (Moll). He lived most of his life in the Town of Wheatfield and was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church serving as Elder and Treasurer. He was a member of the Adams Fire Company and in the past served as Chairman of the Town of Wheatfield Planning Board. Bill spent most of his career in the automobile business as a salesman at Lampe Motors and J.C. Stevens and Parts Manager at Muck Motors. He also worked at Wurlitzer as a draftsman, at Curtiss-Wright during World War II on the P-40 and C-46 airplanes, and at Bell Aerospace as an Expeditor. Bill’s greatest source of joy and pride was his family. He is survived by two sons Gary W. (Gail) Andrees of East Amherst, NY, David L. (Marianna) Andrees of North Tonawanda, NY, and a daughter Susan B. (Michael) Kenyon of the Town of Porter, NY; also surviving are four granddaughters Christy Andrees, Gina Andrees, Natalie Cave and Bethany (Michael) Owczarczak; four great-grandchildren Carlton Carter, Rileigh Dunn, Liam Cave, Lucas Owczarczak and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, in Wheatfield on Thursday, November 10 from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 12 at 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church, 6950 Ward Rd., North Tonawanda, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

    TOWN OF WHEATFIELD — Dolores Lydia (Moll) Andrees, age 86, of the Town of Wheatfield, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 13, 2011. Dolores was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church and enjoyed being active in various church activities, such as choir and the Ladies Aid. She worked in food service preparation for the Niagara Wheatfield School District until her retirement. Two of her favorite hobbies were gardening and flower arranging.

    Dolores was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Lydia (Schimschack) Moll; and the sister of the late Shirley M. (Gilbert) Walck. Dolores is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, William A. Andrees; two sons, Gary W. (Gail) Andrees, of Akron, NY and David L. (Marianna) Andrees of North Tonawanda; and a daughter, Susan B. (Michael) Kenyon of St. Mary's, GA; also surviving are four granddaughters, Christy Dunn, Gina Andrees, Natalie Andrees and Bethany Andrees; and two great-grandchildren, Carlton Carter and Rileigh Dunn.

    Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd, in North Tonawanda, on Sunday from 3-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM from St. John Lutheran Church, Ward Road at Niagara Falls Blvd. The Rev. Ronald Oravec will officiate. Interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St John Lutheran Church, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, or Niagara Hospice.

    William C. Andrees, 100, a retired employee of the Wurlitzer Co. and a charter member of the Adams Fire Company and the Volunteer Fireman's Benevolent Association, died Friday (Dec. 17, 1999) in the Niagara Lutheran Home in Buffalo after a brief illness.
    He was born in Wheatfield, where he worked on his parents' farm and attended St. John Lutheran School.
    For 42 years, he worked at the former Wurlitzer Co. in North Tonawanda as a lumber handler and as an assistant supervisor. He retired in 1965.
    Andrees was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church and a member of the Wheatfield Senior Citizens.
    His wife, the former Florence M. Heschke, died in 1985.
    Survivors include two sons, Edward W. of North Tonawanda and William A.; a daughter, VA Lemke of North Tonawanda; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. John Lutheran Church, Ward Road and Niagara Falls Boulevard. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.

    wedding anniversary Thursday
    Mr. Andrees and the former
    Florence Heschke were married
    June 27,1920, at St John's Lutheran
    Church, Ward Road. Wheatfield, by
    the Rev. J. Walter Thiemecke They
    are still members of the church and
    are the longest married couple in the
    congregation.
    They have three children, Edward

    Mrs. Richard (Virginia) Lemke, all

    residing in Wheatfield. They have 13
    grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.
    Mr Andrees was employed by the
    Wurlitzer Company for 40 years
    retiring in 1967. They are charter
    members of Adams Fire Company
    and Ladies Auxiliary.
    Mr Andrees enjoys working in his
    garden and taking care of their
    home.

Mr. Moll was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield, a member of St. James Lutheran Church, former director of the Men’s Chorus of St. James Lutheran Church, a member of the Bergholtz German Band and the Wheatfield Community Band. He was a foreman and employee of National Grinding Wheel for forty years.
    He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (nee Werth) Moll; two daughters, Mrs. William (Delores) Andrees and Mrs. Gilbert (Shirley) Walck), both of the Town of Wheatfield; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a step-son, Boyd (Velma) Hoffman; a step-daughter, Mrs. Roger (Sherrill) Marohn, both of North Tonawanda; a step-grandson, David Hoffman; two brothers, Philip M., and Rudolph A. Moll, both of the Town of Wheatfield.
    The family will receive friends at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and until noon Tuesday. Services will be held in St. James Lutheran Church Tuesday at 1 p.m., the Rev. John H. Crilley will officiate. Interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be may to St. James Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.

    Mrs. Lydia E. Moll, 45, of Church Rd., St. Johnsburg, died last evening in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in the Town of Wheatfield she had been a lifelong resident of this vicinity. She is survived by her husband, Edward J. Moll, two daughters, Mrs. William A. Andress, Town of Wheatfield and Miss Shirley Moll, at home; a grandson, Gary Andress; a step-father, Herman Schimschack, Bergholtz; two sisters, Mrs. Wilbert Wolanske, Mrs. Reuben Stenzel, Town of Wheatfield; two brothers, Edward Schimschack, North Tonawanda, Clarence Wolf, Town of Wheatfield. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. from the late residence, 2:30 p.m. from St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholtz. The Rev. Otto Bruss will officiate. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
