    A native of Tonawanda,
    he was the brother of
    Vernon F. Stoberl who died
    in 1977. Mr. Stoberl had
    been employed by the U.S.
    Postal Service since 1954
    and since 1977 was
    Postmaster in Wilson, NY.
    An Army veteran of World
    War II, he had been an
    usher and former Elder at
    Immanuel Lutheran
    Church and was a member
    of the Board of Christian
    Education, Tonawandas
    Post 264, American Legion
    andN.A.P.U.S.
    He is survived by his
    wife, Violet L. (nee
    Andrees) Stoberl; a daughter,
    Mrs. Steven M.
    (Linda) Puscheck of
    Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons,
    Dean R. (Bud) Stoberl, Jr.
    and Scott A. Stoberl, both
    at home; two sisters, Mrs.
    Shirley Betts of Margate.
    Fla., and Mrs. Sally Eaton
    of Pompano Beach, Fla.; a
    brother, Donald L. (Jessie)
    Stoberl of the Town of
    T o n a w a n d a ; h is
    mother-in-law, Mrs. Alma
    Andrees and several nieces
    and nephews.
    Friends may call Monday
    evening from 7 until 9
    and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to
    9 p.m., at John O. Roth
    Funeral Home, Morgan
    and William Sts., Tonawanda
    where services will
    be conducted at 11 a.m.
    Wednesday by the Rev.
    Robert L. Rickus. Burial
    will be in Elmlawn Cemetery.

    Church.

    Stoberl, Violet L. (nee Andrees), age 91, lifelong resident of the Tonawandas, March 11, 2020. Wife of the late Dean R. Stoberl who died in 1981; mother of Linda (Steven) Puscheck, Dean R. "Bud" Stoberl Jr. and Scott A. (Pamela) Stoberl; grandmother of David (Ashley), Daniel, Justine (Scott) and Derek; great-grandmother of Jackson. She was also predeceased by her sister Doris Mellenthine. Violet was a 1946 graduate of North Tonawanda High School. She worked as a clerk at Certified Finance for nearly 50 years and was a long-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 21, at 10:30 AM in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 107 Scott St. (corner of William St.), in Tonawanda. Everyone welcome.     A candlelight ceremony in St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran
    Church Aug. 29 united in marriage Miss Violet Andress,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Andrees of Robinson
    St., and Dean R. Stoberl, son of Louis Stoberl of Minerva St.
    The Rev. Paul Fretthold offlci-
    ated before an altar decorated with
    mixed white flowers, palms and
    candelabra.
    The bride, who was given in
    marriage by her father, chose a
    floor-length gown fashioned of rosepoint
    lace and nylon tulle over
    satin. Her fitted bodice featured a
    V-neckline and long sleeves which
    came to points upon her wrists.

    The bouffant skirt formed a sweep
    at the back. A satin cap covered
    with tulle caught her lace-edged
    fingertip veil. White satin streamers
    fell from her prayer book
    which was adorned with a white
    orchid.
    The maid-of-honor, Mrs. Ralph
    MeUenthine, carried a Colonial bou-
    quet of Talisman roses. Her gown
    of yellow nylon tulle was fashioned

    with a V neckline, short sleeves
    and tiers at the back of the skirt.
    Wearing similar gowns in blue
    were the bridesmaids, Mrs. Theodore
    Rojek, Mrs. Victor Dzikoski
    and Miss June Schaffer. Matching
    half-hats of blue nylon tulle complemented
    their ensembles. Their
    Colonial bouquets were of yellow
    roses and pink carnations.
    Donald L. Stoberl was the best
    man. Ushering were William Pickard,
    Vernon F. Stoberl and William
    Storey.
    At the reception in the St. Johnsburg
    Fire Hall Mrs. Andrees received
    her guests in a blue lace
    dress accented with black accessories.
    She wore a corsage of
    yellow roses.
    Mr. and Mrs. Stoberl are at home
    in 35 Glenwood Ave., Tonawanda.
    Showers for the bride were given
    by Mrs. Ralph MeUenthine. Mrs..

    WILLIAM A. ANDREES
    William A. Andrees, 52 years old, died yesterday afternoon at his home on the Nash road at St. Johnsburg after a brief illness. Besides his wife, the deceased is survived by five sons, Henry, William, George, Ernest and Norman of St. Johnsburg; four daughters, the Misses Wilhelmina, Louise, Rosina and Emma Andrees; his mother, Mrs. Wilhelmina Andrees; one brother, Henry Andrees of Ransomville and three sisters, Mrs. August Strassburg and Mrs, Charles Stang (sic) of St. Johnsburg and Mrs. Charles Werth of North Tonawanda. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late residence and half an hour late from St. John's Lutheran  Church at St. Johnsburg.  Rev. William Albrecht officiating. Interment will be made at St. Johnsburg. Henry Andrees, the oldest son, is in the National Army.

    NORTH TONAWANDA, Jan 25 - Mrs. Emma Andrees, 80, widow of William Andrees, Fall Town of Wheatfield, died at the home of her daughter, M Edward Heschke, 221 Robinson after a long illness. Born in Germany, she came to this country at the age of 18 residing the greater part of her life in the Town of Wheatfield. She was a member of St John's Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid Society of the church and the auxiliary of the Adams Fire Department. She is survived by three daughters besides Mrs. Heschke, Mrs, Carl Lureman. this city; Mrs.*Edward Hildebrandt and Mrs. Philip Moll, Town of Wheatfield; ;five sons, Henry, Norman and George, this city; William and Ernest, Town of Wheatfield: 24 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. William Runde, this city,'and a brother, Charles Schultz, Town of Wheatfield. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hamp Funeral Home with the Rev, Walter Thiemecke officiating. Burial will be in St John's cemetery.
