Annis, 89, formerly of
North Tonawanda,
Tuesday (April 7, 1981)
at DeGraff Memorial
Hospital after a lengthy
illness. Mr. Annis was an
employee of the Buffalo
Bolt Co. for 53 years.
He is survived by two
sons, Atwell A. Annis
and Myron C. (Patricia)
Annis, both of North
Tonawanda; seven
grandchildren and
brother of the late
Eleanor Murdock.
Friends may call at
the Fretthold Funeral
Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver
St., at Ward Rd., North
Tonawanda this evening
from 7 to 9. Funeral
arrangements incomplete.

North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 12/14/1916

John M. Annis, 75 years old, a well
known resident of Tonawanda, died at
his home this morning. He was born
in Oswego county in 1841 and had
spent most of his life here. He was
a boat builder by occupation. Besides
his widow, one daughter, Miss
Eleanor Annis of Tonawanda; one
.son, Merritt D. Annis of Tonawanda;
one sister, .Mrs. Geraldine Tilbe of
North Brookfield, N. Y., and two
brothers, Albert S Annis of New
York city and James A. Annis of
Rome, survive. The funeral will be
held from the Annis home at 2:30
o'clock on Sunday afternoon, the Rev.
F. A. Higgins officiating. Burial will
be made in Elmlawn.

John married JOSLIN, Eliza about 1878. Eliza was born in Jan 1854 in New York; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
