    White carnations and gladioli
    decorated the altar of St. Teresa of
    the Infant Jesus Church last Saturday
    morning when Miss. Bridget
    Mary Raftery, daughter of Mrs.
    Margaret Rafiery, Athenry, Galway,
    Ireland, and the late Thomas
    Raftery, became the bride of Mr.
    George J. Archbold, Jr., son of
    Mr. George J. Archbold, College
    Ave., and the late Mrs. Archbold.
    The Rev. Eugene B. Regan officiated
    at the ceremony.
    Given in marriage by her uncle,
    Mr. Patrick J. Raftery, Lynn, Mass.,
    the bride wore a gown styled in
    princess lines with a Peter Pan collar,
    embroidered with seed pearls.
    The bodice was One of imported
    Chantilly lace and the waltz-length
    satin skirt was overlaid with appliqued
    nylon tulle. Her veil of
    pure silk illusion was held in place
    by a crown tiara of seed pearls.
    She carried a colonial bouquet of
    white roses.
    Miss Mary L. Archbold, sister
    of the bridegroom, was maid-ofhonor
    and was attired in an ice blue
    princess style organdy gown, bound
    in satin. She wore a matching cap
    of blue satin and carried a colonial
    bouquet of pink roses.
    Mr. John J. Archbold was his
    brother's best man and seating the
    guests were Messrs. Charles E
    Wolosin and William Archbold.
    A breakfast for the immediate
    family was held following the ceremony
    in the social hall of St.
    Teresa's school.
    For moloring to California the
    bride chose an aqua linen suit with
    matching hat and white accossories.
    Her outfit was complemented with
    a corsage of white roses.
