    The marriage of Robert Mercer,
    son of Mr. and Mrs. James Mercer
    of this village, and Isabel Arkyns,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George
    Arkyns of Buffalo, took place in Buffalo
    on December 31 ,1936 at 10
    o'clock with Rev. Krammer officiating.
    They were attended by Miss
    Florence Sonberg and George Arkyns,
    brother of the bride.
    The bride wore a blue crepe dress
    with a corsage of yellow orchids.
    Robert Mercer has been working
    in a Kendall station at Collins for
    four years and they will make their
    home there.
    A variety shower was given for
    them Friday night, January 8th at
    their home in Collins. Mrs. James
    Mercer, son Gardiner and daughter
    Celia, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Meinecke,
    Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Marshall,
    James Guy of this village, and Mr.
    and Mrs. Leonard Morton of Limestone
    attended.
