    Highway, died suddenly Friday
    night at the Medina Memorial
    Hospital.
    - He was born in Lyndonville,
    Nov. 23,1922, the son of the late
    Timothy and Clara Arndt Bane.
    He was a veteran of World
    War II, a social member of the
    Medina Sacred Heart Club and
    a member of the C. B. Club
    known as "Lucky Teeter."
    He was a 35-year retiree from
    Harrison Radiator of GMC of
    Lockport
    He is survived by his wife,
    Charlette Gusslin Bane; three
    sons, Tim Bane and Kent Bane
    of Medina, PFC Jeff Bane of
    the U.S. Army stationed in
    Germany; one daughter,
    Dianne Bane of Lyndonville;
    four grandchildren, Shamon
    Baun of Lyndonville, Wendy,
    Kent Jr. and Kristine Bane all
    of Medina; one brother, Leo
    Bane of Rochester; one sister,
    Mrs. Stanley (Martha) Hill of
    Cohocton, and several nieces
    and nephews.
    Friends may call today (2-
    4 and 7-9) and Tuesday (2-4 and
    7-9) at the Barnes-Tuttle
    Funeral Home, 112 North Main
    St., Lyndonville, where a
    funeral service will be held
    Wednesday at 11 a.m. The Rev.
    F. Ray Hazlett of the United
    Methodist Church of Lyndonville
    will officiate and
    burial will be in Lynhaven
    Cemetery.
    Memorials may be made to
    the American Heart Fund or
    the United Methodist Church of
    Lyndonville, or a charity of
    one's choice.

    at his home on the Petrie
    Road. He was a lifelong resident
    Of the Town of Yates.
    Surviving are his wife, Clara

    Leo Fred and Keith Norman
    Bane of Rochester, Howard Le-
    Roy Bane of Lockport, Sgt. Irving

    LYNDONVILLE - Mrs. Clara
    C. Bane, 78, of Marshall
    Road, died early today at her
    home here after a long illness.
    She was the daughter of Wil
    liam and Minnie Arndt, and
    was born July 13, 1890, in Burt.
    She married the late Timothy
    Bane of Lyndonville in 1906, and
    has resided in this area for
    more than 60 years.
    Mrs. Bane was a member of
    the United Methodist Church
    and the Gleaners Class of that
    church. Until recently, she was
    quite active in church affairs.
    She is survived by a daughter,
    Mrs. Stanley (Myrtle) Hill
    of Rochester; four sons, Leo of
    Rochester, and Keith Sr., Irving
    and Earl, all of Lyndonville; a
    sister, Miss Anna Miller of Buffalo;
    a brother, William Miller
    of Lyndonville; 28 grandchildren;
    34 great - grandchildren,
    and several nieces and nephews.
    Her son Howard Bane died in
    1953.
    Friends may call from 7-9
    p.m. today and from 2-4 and 7-9
    p.m. tomorrow at the Smythe
    Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St.,
    Lyndonville.
    Funeral services will be conducted
    at 2 p.m. Sunday by the
    Rev. Howard Warriner of United
    Methodist Church.

    MIDDLEPORT - Mrs. Matie
    A. Evens Gursslin, 71, wife of
    Squire B. Gursslin of 39 Mechanic
    St., Middleport, died Friday
    evening (Sept 20. 1963) In Me-
    Memorial Hospital where she
    had been a patient for the pest
    three weeks.
    A native of the Town of Royalton,
    Mrs. Gursslin was born Sept
    30, 1882, the daughter of Alonzo
    end Charlotte Gibson Evens. She
    was a member of the First Methodist
    Church of Middleport.
    Surviving, besides her husband,
    are s son, Herbert G. Gursslin;
    four daughters. Mrs. Everett
    Werth of Lockport; Mrs. La
    Verne Greene of East Shelby;
    Mrs. Thomas Hewitt of Medina;
    Mrs. Earl Bane of Lyndonville;
    four brothers, Burt and George
    Of Medina, LaVerne of Lockport,
    and Harry Evans of Middleport;
    three sisters, Mrs. Glen Gardner
    of Medina. Mrs. Glen Werth of
    Lockport, Mrs. Gladys Riddle of
    Buffalo; 15 grandchildren, 15
    great . grandchildren; and several
    nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call from 7 to 9
    p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 4 and
    from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the
    Wallace and Heath Funeral Home,
    State Street, Middleport. where
    services will be held at 11 a.m.
    Tuesday. The Rev. Alfred L. Underbill
    of the First Methodist
    Church will officiate.
    Burial will he in Millville Cemetery,
    Orleans County.
