    SANBORN-Cornelius C. Ingwersen, 89, of 4065 Lockport Road, died Monday (Jan. 2,1967) in Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born on St Johnsburg, Sept 30, 1877, he was the son of Peter and Mary Oderboltz Ingwersen. He had owned and operated a farm at the Lockport Road address for 60 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda. Survivors include his widow, the former Mary Mellenthin; two daughters, Mrs. Reuben (Ruth) Human and Mrs. Carl (Margaret) Goerss both of Sanborn, four sisters, Mrs. Katherine Ottermann, Port Colborne, Out., Mrs. Fred Ellman, North Tonawanda, Mrs. William Stenzel and Mrs. Clara Gombert, both of Niagara Falls; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Pike and Jones Funeral Home here, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Enno A. Schmoock of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating.     SHAWNEE - Mrs. Mary J
    Ingwersen, 90, of 3539 Human
    Road, Shawnee, died Saturday
    (April 10, 1971) in the DeGraff
    Memorial Hospital after a long
    illness.
    A native of Germany, she
    came ot the Village of LaSalle,
    Niagara Falls, as an infant. She
    had resided in Shawnee since
    1905 celebrating "ner Golden
    Wedding Anniversary in M^rch
    7, 1954, with her husbahd, Cornelius
    C. Ingwersen, who died
    January 2, 1967.
    She was an honorary life
    member of the Ladies Aid of
    St. Paul's Lutheran Church of
    North Tonawanda.
    Surviving are two daughters,
    Mrs. Rueben (Ruth) Human
    and Mrs. Carl (Margaret)
    Goerss, both of Sanborn; a
    sister, Mrs. Minnie Donnelly of
    Buffalo; four grandchildren and
    11 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be con-
    ducted at the Pike and Jones
    Funeral Home at 5893 Hoover
    Raod, Sanborn, Wednesday at
    1:30 p.m. by. Rev. Enno A.
    Schmoock.
    Bura
    Burial will be in North Ridge
    Cemetery.
    Friands may call from 2 to
    5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the
    funeral home Monday and Tuesday.

    TO CELEBRATE GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY—Mr. and Mrs. Cort
    nelius Ingwersen, Lockport Rd., Sanborn, will hold an open house
    from 4 to 9 p.m. on March 6 in observance of their 50th wedding
    anniversary. The couple has requested that in lieu of presents contributions
    be given to the Lutheran Hour. Mrs. Ingwersen, born in
    Germany on Oct. 23, 1880, came to this city when an infant with
    her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. August Mellenthin. Mr. Ingwersen
    was born Sept. 30, 1877, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
    Peter Ingwersen, St. Johnsburg. The couple was wed on March 7,
    1905 by the Rev. J. M. Eberjein. Mr. and Mrs. Ingwersen, who have
    lived in their'present home for 48 years, have two daughters, Mrs.
    Rueben Human and Mrs. Carl Goerss, and four grandchildren,
    Mrs. Leon Rowe, Norman Human and Arnold and Arlene Goerss.
