of 18 Suffolk Ave., Maplewood,
N. J., announce the engagement of
their daughter, Jean W. Taylor, to
Frederick D. Arnts Jr., son of Mr.
and Mrs. Frederick D. Arnts of 111
East Felton St., North Tonawanda.
Miss Taylor was graduated from
St. Lawrence University in Canton,
N. Y. She is now employed in the
personnel office of Stern Brothers
Department store in New York.
Mr. Arnts is now attend Clarkson
College of Technology. In his
junior year, he is majoring in the
field of electrical engineering, He
served two years in the United
States Air Forces.

NORTH TONAWANDA -
Mrs. Frances Blake Arnts, 69,
of 52 Oakwood Terrace, died
Thursday (July 11, 1968) in
DeGraff Memorial Hospital after
a long illness.
She was born in Freedom,
N.Y., and had lived here for
the last 46 years.
Survivors include her husband,
Fred D. Arnts; two sons,
Frederick-D. Arnts Jr. of Utica
and Maj. Donald F Arnts,
Klamath Falls, O r e ; a
daughter, Mrs. Elton (Dorothy)
Ziehl, this city; a sister, Mrs
Irvin (Myra) Hulbert.
Freedom; 10 grandchildren and
several nieces and nephews. .
Services will be held at 1:30
p.m. Monday at the Fretthold
Funeral Home, the Rev. Kenneth
Miller officiating. Burial
will be in Acacia Park
Cemetery.

George married Katherine about 1898. Katherine was born about 1876 in Mt Alton, PA; died on 28 Sep 1953 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

NORTH TONAWANDA, Sept.
29 - Funeral services for Mrs.
Katherine Arnst. 78. 111 E. Felton
St., who died last night after a
long illness, will be held Thursday
at 2 p.m. at her home.
A resident of this city for 31
years, Mrs. Arnts was born in mt.
Alton, Pa. She is the widow of the
late George Arnts.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
James Devison, and three sons;
Frederick, Gerald and George
Arnts, all of this city.
The Rev. William h. Saye will
officiate at the funeral. Burial will
be in Riverdale Cemetery, Niagara
Falls.
