peas decorated the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Jay W, Metcalf at Johnson
Creek for the marriage of their
grand-daughter solemnized there
Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
The bride, Miss Marten Ruth
Hadley. daughter of Mr. and Mrs
Alfred D. Hadley of 89 Regent
St.. Lockport, was united in marriage
to Donald Arthur Berry, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Berry,
of 126 Hyde Park, Lockport.
The Rev. Paul Morrison, pastor
of Lockport Emmanuel Methodist
church, performed the ceremony
and the bride was given in marriage
by her father. Mrs. Herbert
Dixon of Carlisle Gardens was
matron of honor and Miss Wilma
Kinziy of Oasport was bridesmaid.
Arthur Christensen was best man
and Robert Berry was usher.
Harp Music
A program of delightful musical
numbers was played by Miss Jessie
B. Hammond, harpist, preceding
the ceremony and during the service,
as well as during the recaption
which followed.
The bride wore a gown of figured
organdy, fashioned with
three-quarter length sleeves and
sweetheart neckline. Her veil of
illusion fell from a Juliet cap and
headdress of gypaophila, roses and
daisies. She carried an arm bou-
quet of roses, gypaophila and sweet
peas, centered with an orchid.
Mrs. Dixon wore a dross of yellow
sheer with long full sleeves
and high neckline. Mar arm bouquet
was of yellow roues and
sweat peas tied with green satin.
Miss Kinziy wore a blue figured
organdy drear and carried pink
roses and sweet peas tied with pink
satin
Mrs. Hadley, mother of the bride
wore a pink chiffon dress and Mrs.
Beny mother of the groom, wore
Alice blue shear. Both wore corsages
of mixed flowers, Mrs. Melcalf
wore a turquoise silk jersey
dress with a corsage of mixed
flowers and the groom's sister, Miss
Shirley Berry, wore a pink sheer
drees and a wrist corsage.
Reception On Lawn
A reception to 150 guests was
hold on the spacious lawn of the
home. The bridal cake flanked with
vari-coiored tapers and the bridesmaids'
bouquets centered the
bride's table.
Mr. and Mrs. Berry left for a
lake trip to Detroit and other
points, the bride wearing a traveling
dress of lipstick red linen with
white crepe blouse, white linen hat
and white accessories. She wore
an orchid corsage. They will make
their borne at 89 Regent St., Lockport,
after Aug. 10.

that the marriage of their
mother, Mrs. Wilhelmina Lucas
of Hatter Road, Newfane,
to Donald Berry of 126 Hyde
Park was solemnized Saturday,
June 29, 1963, at Immanuel
Lutheran Church at
Ridgewood. The Rev. August
P. Kreutz officiated.
Mr. and Mrs. John Verguson
of Appleton attended the couple.
Following the ceremony, a
reception was held at the
home of Mrs. Thursam f o r
the immediate family.
After a wedding trip to the
Adirondacks, Mr. and Mrs.
