    Flowers and ferns formed the background March 17
    In The First Church of Christ for the marriage of Miss
    Patricia Jacqueline Ollenbittle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    William F. Ollenbittle, Sanborn, to Ralph J. Babcock of
    Mapleton Rd., Lockport. The Rev. Norman B. Crawford
    officiated in a candlelight ceremony.
    The bride's gown of Chantilly
    lace and tulle was fashioned with
    a V-neckline and long sleeves. A
    fish-tail of lace enhanced the full
    skirt of tulle over satin. Her
    fingertip veil of illusion was
    caught to a tiara crown of lace carnation
    and she carried a cascade of white
    roses and carnations.
    Gowns of blue nyion lace over br
    tulle were worn by the bride's
    attendants, her sisters, Audrey,
    maid of honor; and Nancy, brides-
    maid, and Miss Shirley Uplinger.
    Similarly dressed was the flower
    girl, Loretta Taylor. they car-
    ried cascade bouquets of pink
    carnations.
    Robert Babcock attended his
    brother as mest man. Ushers were
    another brother, John Babcock,
    and James Hamilton. David Ol-
    lenbittle served as ring bearer.
    For her daughter's wedding,
    Mrs. Ollenbittle chose a beige
    dress with pink accessories. Mrs.
    Babcock complimented her pink
    dress with beige accessories. Both
    wore corsages of pink carnations.
    A reception was given in the
    Lockport American Legion Post
    Home. A buffet supper was
    served. The bride's table was
    centered with a cake and adorned
    with carnations.
    Mr. and Mrs. Babcock left for
    a honeymoon in Florida.
    Prenuptial parties for the bride
    were given by Miss Audrey Ollenbittle,
    Miss Gertrude Donachy,
    Miss Mathilda Stoelting and the
    Misses Shirley and Beverly Babcock.
    Also entertaining were a
    group of girls from the Tabulating
    Department, Harrison Radiator
    Division, General Motors.

    SHAWNEE, Aug. 4-Miss Beverly
    A. Fronczak, daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. C. F. Fronczak, Aiken
    Rd., and John W. Babcock, son
    of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Babcock,
    Mapleton Rd., were united in marriage
    Saturday at 4 o'clock in St.
    Paul's Lutheran Church, Martinsville.
    The Rev. Frederic Hinners
    officiated.
    The altar, was adorned with
    vases of white seasonal flowers and
    candles with palms at the chancel.
    The pews were marked with white
    ribbons. The soloist, Mrs. David
    Smith, North Tonawanda, sang
    "Oh Perfect Love," and "Today Oh
    Lord We At Thy Altar Stand."
    She was accompanied by Arnold
    Nuoffer, organist.
    Escorted and given in marriage
    by her father, the bride wore a
    floor-length gown of white lace
    and net over satin and long sleeves
    pointed over the wrists. It had a
    lace bodice and a lace insert in
    the front of the skirt. Her fingertip
    veil was caught to a crown of
    seed pearls and rhinestones and
    she carried a white Bible with an
    orchid and small white flowers and
    streamers. The bride also wore a
    single strand of pearls and matching
    tear-drop earrings, a gift of
    the bridegroom.
    Miss Carolyn Nablo, Niagara
    Falls, maid of honor, was gowned
    in orchid nylon net over taffeta
    with a lace bodice and a small
    matching bolero jacket. She wore
    a close fitting net cap of orchid
    and carried a colonial bouquet of
    orchid and yellow carnations.
    The bridesmaids, Miss Janet
    Friese, Tonawanda, and Miss Shirley
    Jendrian, North Tonawanda.
    were gowned like the maid of
    honor. Miss Friese in pink with a
    pink and blue colonial bouquet
    and Miss Jendrian in aqua with
    an aqua and yellow colonial bouquet
    of carnations and small
    flowers.
    Ralph Babcock . attended his
    brother as best man. The ushers
    were Robert Babcock and James
    Gregson.
    The mother of the bride wore
    navy blue net over taffeta with
    rose accessories and corsage of
    white roses and carnations. The
    mother of the bridegroom chose
    pink nylon lace with white accessories
    and a corsage of white roses
    and carnations. The grandmothers
    of the bride, Mrs. Frances Fronczak,
    and Mrs. Henry Weinheimer,
    wore print dresses and corsages of
    mixed flowers.
    A reception was held at the
    Shawnee Firehall for 200 guests
    The bridal table was centered with
    a three-tiered wedding cake and
    white candles and flowers. Guests
    were present from Rochester, Erie,
    Pa., Kitchener, Ont., Binghamton,
    the Tonawandas, Buffalo, Niagara
    Falls and Lockport
    For a wedding trip to the Thousand
    Islands and the Adirondacks,
    the bride wore a cocoa brown linen
    suit with white accessories' and
    white orchid corsage.
    Hostesses at prenuptial parties
    given for the bride "were Mrs.
    Frances Fronczak, Miss Dorothy
    Fronczak and Mrs. Richard Borowiec,
    at the latter's home, Mrs.
    James Kydd, Mrs. Bernard Leniewski
    and Miss Patricia Lsniewski,
    Miss Carolyn Nablo and Miss
    Grace Demler and Miss Shirley
    Jendrian, at the latter's home.

    Mrs. Sara Salome Jacobs, 72. a
    former resident of this city for 50
    years, died yesterday at the home
    of her daughter. Mrs. Earl Babcock.
    Pendleton. N. Y. She was the widow
    of John D. Jacobs and for many
    years made her home in Girard avenue,
    this city.
    Surviving are lour sons, Gordon.
    Reuben and Irvin. all of this city,
    and Walter, of Lewiston; a daughter,
    Mrs. Babcock, a sister. Mrs. Rebecca
    Hertzberger, of St. Catharines, Ont.
    and two brothers, David Thaler,
    Waterloo, Ont.. and John Thaler,
    of this city. Four half-sisters and
    five half-brothers and eight grandchildren
    also survive.
    Funeral services will be held on
    Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock
    in the home of her daughter in Pendleton,
    on the Town Line road near
    Shawnee. The Rev. Dr. Arthur H
    Schmoyer. of Zlon Lutheran Evangelical
    church, this city, will officiate
    and burial will be in Memorial Park
    cemetery-
