    died Wednesday (Jan.
    6, 1965) at DeGraff Memorial
    Hospital. She was a lifelong res-
    ident of North Tonawanda and a
    member of St. Peter's American
    Lutheran Church and the La-
    dies Aid of the church. She was
    wife of the late August Bach,
    and is survived by two daugh-
    ters, Mrs. Ella Johnson and Mrs.
    Lydia Bernhardt of North Tona-
    wanda; four grandchildren,
    and nine great - grandchildren.
    Friends may call from 2 to 4 and
    7 to 9 p.m. at the Wattengel
    Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St.,
    North Tonawanda, where services
    will be at 2 p.m. Sunday.
    The Rev. Daniel Olson will officiate.
    Burial in Elmlawn Cemetery.

    Funeral services will be conducted at
    2 o'clock Saturday for Herman R.
    Bach, 90 years old, at the home of
    his granddaughter, Mrs. , George
    Krueger, 306 Shartle Place, half an
    hour later at St. Peter's church. The
    Rev. Ernest Schneppe will officiate
    and burial will be in St. Peters' cemetery.

    N. Tonawanda Aug 16 - Mrs Caroline Bach 76 yrs. old, wife of Herman Bach, Sr. of 324 Schenk St, died at the family home yesterday afternoon after a lingering illness. Fred Kriedeman of Niagara Falls was a brother.

    Carolina Bach, seventy five years old, died at 2:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her son, Herman Bach, Jr. Mrs. Bach's death followed a lingering illness. She was born in Germany and had lived in the Tonawandas during the past twenty-eight years. Besides her husband, Herman Bach, Sr., she is survived by six sons, Otto of Presido, Cal., Fred Bach of Charleston, S. C, Max Bach of Toledo, O., and Herman, Julius and Gustave Bach of North Tonawanda, thirteen grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Theodore Eckelt of North Tonawanda, and two brothers, Fred Kriedemann of North Tonawanda and William Kriedemann of Germany. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late residence and half an hour later from St. Peter's church on Schenck street. Burial will be in St. Peter's cemetery.

    NOTE: She may have either maiden name in Germany - cannot be determined

    Mrs. Christine Hanneman, 84, died
    yesterday afternoon at the home of!
    her daughter, Mrs. Wilhelmina
    Berndt, 180 Lincoln avenue. She had
    not complained of any illness and,
    when she sat down in a rocker early
    in the afternoon, she suffered a
    stroke dying suddenly.
    She was born in Germany and came
    to America 54 years ago. For the
    past 24 years, she has made her home
    in North Tonawanda. Surviving are
    four daughters, Mrs. Alvina Schendel,
    Mrs. Joseph Friedman, Mrs. Augusta
    Bach and Mrs. W. Berndt, all of North
    Tonawanda; two sons, Carl Mellenthein,
    of North Tonawanda and William
    Hanneman of Olcott, N. Y., sixteen
    grandchildren and fourteen great
    grandchildren.
    Funeral will be held Sunday afternoon
    from the home of Mrs. Berndt,
    at 2 o'clock with services at St. Mathew's
    Church at 2:30, where Rev. Carl
    Frankenstein will officiate. Burial
    will be made at St. Mathew's cemetery
