    Church, Miss Audrey Louise
    Bach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    Edward Charles Bach of 71 Hagen
    tvenue, became the bride of Howard
    Earl Ensminger of 31 Elmwood
    Park, Tonawanda. The Rev.
    Robert F. Hein officiated before
    the altar which was banked with
    palms, fern and white gladioli
    The bride wore a .colonial
    itvled gown of white brocade
    with basque bodice, long pointed
    sleeves and bouffant skirt with
    long train. The scalloped shadow
    neckline wps outlined in silver
    beads. She wore a doubled tier
    icalloped finger tip veil of illusion
    arranged with orange bloslomi
    and carried a white Prayer
    Book with cascade of gardenias.
    Attending her sister at maid of
    newer was Miss Betty Bach wearbag
    a gown of lime green velveteen
    with three quarter length
    sleeves, sweetheart neckline and
    full skirt The bridesmaids. Miss
    Marjorie Allan, Miss Elaine Hils,
    and Mrs. Robert Hadden wore

    gowns of fuschia velveteen. All
    carried bouquets of gladioli "to
    harmonize with their gowns. Sallie
    Ann and Barbara Jean Bach,
    sisters of the bride, as flower
    girls, wore white nylon eyelet
    frocks and carried colonial bouquets
    of gladioli.
    Wesley Ensminger attended his
    brother as best man, and the ushers
    ware Richard Heller, James
    Soldwisch, cousin of the bridegroom,
    and Robert Hadden.
    Mrs. Bach, mother of the bride
    chose a black crepe dress trimmed
    with aqua and black accessories.
    The bridegroom's mother
    also wore black, trimmed with
    touches of gold and black accessories.
    Both had corsages of gardenias
    and roses.
    Over four hundred guests attended
    a reception for the couple
    Refreshments were served from a
    buffet table covered with lace
    cloth and centered with a floral
    arrangement and tall tapers. A
    four tiered wedding cake was
    served. Out of town guests were
    from Buffalo. Dunkirk, Kenmore,
    Lockport and West Valley, N. Y.
    For her wedding trip to the
    New England States and the Adirondacks
    the bride wore a. brown
    gaberdine suit with brown and
    white accessories and a gardenia
    corsage. She wore a mother of
    pearl chatelaine the gift of the
    bridegroom.
    Mr and Mrs. Ensminger are
    making their home in 31 Elm wood
    Park

    a brief illness. He was a lifelong
    resident of North Tonawanda; a
    member of St. Peter's American
    Lutheran Church and North Ton-
    awanda Lodge 860, BPOE. He
    owned and operated a service
    station in North Tonawanda since
    1923. He is survived by his wife,
    Ethel Cooke Bach; four daugh-
    ters, Mrs. Sherwood Tremble of
    North Tonawanda, Mrs. Howard
    Ensminger of Abingdon, Va., and
    Mrs. Thomas Kuczkowski and
    Mrs. Jerald Lehman of the Tona-
    wandas; a son, David of North
    Tonawanda; a sister, Mrs. Irwin
    Hils of North Tonawanda, and
    four grandchildren. Friends may
    call at the Wattengel Funeral
    Home, 307 Oliver St., where serv-
    ices will be a 2 p.m. Friday, the
    Rev. Alfred Walck officiating.

    Park.

    Herman H. Bach Dies at Age 87
    NORTH TONAWANDA - Herman H. Bach, 87, of 448 Bennet St., died Wednesday (Jan. 14, 1959) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a short illness. A native of Germany, he lived in this city for the last 80 years and was formerly employed as a lumber handler for many years. He retired a number of years ago. Survivors include a son, Edward C. Bach, and a daughter, Mrs. Irwin Hils, both of this city; a brother, Ernest Bach, Buffalo, and seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The Rev. Merton L. Baseler will conduct the funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wattengel Funeral Home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park.

    MRS. MATILDA BACH
    Mrs. Matilda Bach, 68, died Sunday afternoon at her home, 328 Schenck street. Born in Germany, she had resided inthe Tonawandas for the past 56 years. She was a member of St. Peter's church on Thompson street and the Ladies' Aid Society of the church. Surviving are her husband, Herman; two daughters, Mrs. Amanda Thuersam and Mrs. Irwin Hils; a son Edward; six grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. John Roloff, Mrs. Charles Schulmeister and Mrs. Fred Vorpahl, all of the Tonawandas. Rites will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence. The Rev. Robert Hein will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park.

    JULIUS W. BACH
    Julius W. Bach, 83 years old, died this morning at the home of his son, Herman W. Bach, 328 Schenck street. Mr. Bach was born in Germany. For the past 38 years he has resided in North Tonawanda. He is survived by four sons, Herman, Ferdinand, Indianapolis; Ernest, Buffalo, and Julius Bach Jr. Tonawanda; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Frieday afternoon at the residence. Rev. Ernest Schneppe of the St. Peter's church, Thompson and Bryant streets, will officiate and interment will be in St. Peter's cemetery

    August Bohlman, 61 years old, a
    well-known grocer of this city, died at
    his home at 358 Falconer street yesterday
    morning after a lingering illness.
    Mr. Bohlman was born in Germany
    And came to this country 23
    years ago. He worked at the grocery
    business all his life, having conducted
    a store here for the last 17 years.
    He was a prominent Republican and
    an active church worker. Besides a
    widow, one son,, Charles Bohlman; and
    four daughters, Mrs. Herman Bach,
    Mrs. John Roloff, Mrs. Charles Schu-
    meister and Miss Minnie Bohlman, all
    of this city, survive. The funeral will
    be held from the late home at 2 o'clock
    and a half hour later from the Saint
    Peter's church on Thompson street on
    Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be
    made at St. Peter's Cemetery.

    Mrs. Amelia Bohlman, 64 years old, widow of August Bolhman, late of North Tonawanda, died at her home at No. 358 Falconer street shortly before noon yesterday after a lingering illness. Four daughters, Mrs. Herman Bach, Mrs. John Roloff, Mrs. Charles Schulmeister and, Mrs. Fred Vorpahl, all of North Tonawanda; one son, Charles Bohlman of North Tonawanda, one sister, Mrs. Herman Acksel of Tonawanda, and three brothers, Charles and Julius Kriedemann of North Tonawanda and Rudolph Kriedemann of Germany survive. The funeral will be held from the family home at 2 o'clock on Sunday afternoon and a half hour later from St. Peter's church on Thompson street. Rev. R. A. Salzwedel officiating, Burial will be made in St. Peter's cemetery.
