    Age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 5, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Jerald F Lehman. She was born August 10, 1942 in North Tonawanda NY, to Edward and Ethel Bach. She was a 1960 graduate of North Tonawanda High School. She married Jerry on August 5, 1961. She worked as a Dental assistant for many years and was a homemaker. She and Jerry retired in 2005.
    After which they spent many winters in Clermont FL. The rest of the year at their home on the Niagara River. She was a lifelong member of St Mark Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school. Barb was a kind, loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her family. She is survived by her children Jeffrey (Marilyn),
    Michael (Susan), and Scott (Nicole Tomsen) and many grandchildren; Jordan, Taylor (James), Matthew, John, Eric, Renee, Griffin, Madison (Kyle), Hayley, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 10 at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda, NY 14120.
    A Funeral Service is scheduled at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 11 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1135 Oliver St, North Tonawanda, NY 14120. Reverend Keith Knupp will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mark's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church.

    Miss Barbara Jean Bach, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Edward Bach, 71 Hagen Ave., and Jerald Frank
    Lehman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lehman, 24 Linwood
    Ave., North Tonawanda* were married Aug. 5 in
    St. Peter Lutheran Church.
    The Rev. M. L. Baseler performed
    the ceremony before an
    altar graced with white gladioli,
    chrysanthemums and pompons
    and four seven-branch candelabra
    entwined with lemon leaves,
    The bride's gown of white embroidered
    silk organza over taffeta
    was designed with a scoop
    neckline, short sleeves and a full
    skirt. A large bow accented the
    skirt back which fell into a chapel
    length train. A pearl trimmed
    crown held her bouffant veil of
    silk illusion and she carried a
    cascade of phalaenopsis orchids
    arranged with ivy.
    Miss Sallie Bach was maid of
    honor for her sister. The Misses
    Barbara Schultz and Betsy Cook,
    the bride's cousin, were bridesmaids
    and Jacqueline Tremble
    and Pamela Ensminger, t he
    bride's niece, were junior
    bridesmaids. They w o r e Nile
    green silk organza gowns made
    with scoop necklines, three-quarter
    sleeves and taffeta cummerbunds.
    Taffeta applique accented
    the bodices and street length
    skirts. Miss Bach carried a cascade
    bouquet of yellow roses and
    white carnations with ivy. The
    bridesmaids and junior bridesmaids
    carried yellow roses and
    carnations.
    The flower girls, Valerie and
    Debra I^ehman, the bridegroom's
    nieces, wore white organdy over
    taffeta dresses with Nile green
    taffeta sashes and carried cascade
    bouquets of yellow sweetheart
    roses and carnations
    Roger Lehman was his brother's
    best man. Thomas Kuczkowski
    and David Bach, the bride's
    brother, were ushers.
    The bride's mother wore a two
    piece powder blue silk shantung
    dress and a corsage of pink
    sweetheart roses with blue accents.
    The bridegroom's mother
    chose a pink linen sheath dress
    and a pink chiffon sweetheart
    rose corsage.
    Out of town guests attending a
    buffet dinner and reception in Stephen
    Sikora American Legion
    Post home were from ICast Aurora,
    Lockport. Medina, Lewiston,
    Rochester; Pittsburgh, Pa., and
    Abingdon, Va.
    After a trip to the Thousand
    Islands, Montreal, and the New
    England states, Mr. and Mrs.
    Lehman will be at home in North
    Avenue and Ruie Road, North
    Tonawanda.
    Pre - nuptial parties for the
    bride were given by Mrs. Sherwood
    Tremble and Miss Sallie
    Bach; Mrs. Roger Lehman and
    Mrs. Frank Lehman; Mrs. Klatt
    and; Mrs. Voelker, Middleport,
    N.Y.
    Mr. and Mrs. Lehman entertained
    the wedding party and
    guests following the wedding rehearsal.

    Herman H. Bach Dies at Age 87
    NORTH TONAWANDA - Herman H. Bach, 87, of 448 Bennet St., died Wednesday (Jan. 14, 1959) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a short illness. A native of Germany, he lived in this city for the last 80 years and was formerly employed as a lumber handler for many years. He retired a number of years ago. Survivors include a son, Edward C. Bach, and a daughter, Mrs. Irwin Hils, both of this city; a brother, Ernest Bach, Buffalo, and seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The Rev. Merton L. Baseler will conduct the funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wattengel Funeral Home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park.

    MRS. MATILDA BACH
    Mrs. Matilda Bach, 68, died Sunday afternoon at her home, 328 Schenck street. Born in Germany, she had resided inthe Tonawandas for the past 56 years. She was a member of St. Peter's church on Thompson street and the Ladies' Aid Society of the church. Surviving are her husband, Herman; two daughters, Mrs. Amanda Thuersam and Mrs. Irwin Hils; a son Edward; six grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. John Roloff, Mrs. Charles Schulmeister and Mrs. Fred Vorpahl, all of the Tonawandas. Rites will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence. The Rev. Robert Hein will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park.

    Julius W. Bach, 83 years old, died this morning at the home of his son, Herman W. Bach, 328 Schenck street. Mr. Bach was born in Germany. For the past 38 years he has resided in North Tonawanda. He is survived by four sons, Herman, Ferdinand, Indianapolis; Ernest, Buffalo, and Julius Bach Jr. Tonawanda; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Frieday afternoon at the residence. Rev. Ernest Schneppe of the St. Peter's church, Thompson and Bryant streets, will officiate and interment will be in St. Peter's cemetery

    August Bohlman, 61 years old, a
    well-known grocer of this city, died at
    his home at 358 Falconer street yesterday
    morning after a lingering illness.
    Mr. Bohlman was born in Germany
    And came to this country 23
    years ago. He worked at the grocery
    business all his life, having conducted
    a store here for the last 17 years.
    He was a prominent Republican and
    an active church worker. Besides a
    widow, one son,, Charles Bohlman; and
    four daughters, Mrs. Herman Bach,
    Mrs. John Roloff, Mrs. Charles Schu-
    meister and Miss Minnie Bohlman, all
    of this city, survive. The funeral will
    be held from the late home at 2 o'clock
    and a half hour later from the Saint
    Peter's church on Thompson street on
    Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be
    made at St. Peter's Cemetery.

    Mrs. Amelia Bohlman, 64 years old, widow of August Bolhman, late of North Tonawanda, died at her home at No. 358 Falconer street shortly before noon yesterday after a lingering illness. Four daughters, Mrs. Herman Bach, Mrs. John Roloff, Mrs. Charles Schulmeister and, Mrs. Fred Vorpahl, all of North Tonawanda; one son, Charles Bohlman of North Tonawanda, one sister, Mrs. Herman Acksel of Tonawanda, and three brothers, Charles and Julius Kriedemann of North Tonawanda and Rudolph Kriedemann of Germany survive.
