    Age 87, of the City of Tonawanda, Saturday, November 2, 2019, while under the care of Hospice, beloved wife of the late Robert J. Bacon; loving mother of Barbara Herrmann, Robert J. Bacon, Jr., Thomas C. (Kathleen) Bacon, Daniel P. Bacon, Paul A. Bacon, William C. Bacon and the late Michael J. “MB” Bacon; daughter of the late Carl and Henrietta (nee Kuhn) Kreger; sister of Richard Kreger; predeceased by three sisters and four brothers; also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, November 5, from 4-7 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.), City of Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be held at 7 PM following the visitation. A private burial will be in Mt.     con, after a wedding trip to Wash-
    ington, D. C. are at home in 390
    Payne Ave.
    The former Miss Dorothy Ann
    Kreger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    Carl Kreger and Robert, the son
    of Mr. and Mrs. William Bacon
    were married Oct. 4 in the rectory
    of St. Francis Church.
    The bride, given in marriage by
    her father, wore a gown of Chantilly
    lace over satin, with stand up
    collar, long sleeves and ballerina
    length skirt. Her fingertip veil of
    illusion fell from a head piece of
    orange bossoms. She carried white
    roses and pompons in a colonial
    bouquet.
    Miss Marie Bacon, the bridegroom's
    sister, as matron of honor,
    wore a dusty rose velvet and
    net strapless gown with matching
    net stole and matching velvet hat;
    Miss Emma Kreger, sister of the
    bride and Miss Lois Kreger, a cou-

    sin, wore similar costumes of corn-
    flower blue. The attendants
    colonial bouquets of roses.

    Donna Marie Kreger, niece of the
    bride, the flower girl wore a pale
    green
    taffeta frock with net trim-
    ming, a headpiece of lilies-of-the-
    valley, and carried an old-fashion
    ed bouquet tied with pale green
    ribbon.
    William Bacon attended his
    brother as best man and ushers
    were Robert Graff and Robert
    Hartman.
    Mrs. Kreger, for her daughter's
    wedding, chose a navy blue dress
    with matching roses and a corsage
    of pink roses. Mrs. Bacon, the
    bridegroom's mother was attired
    in navy blue, matching accessories
    also wore pink roses. Mrs.
    Bacon, grandmother of the
    bridegroom, chose a black dress
    and wore yellow roses in her cor-
    sage.
    A wedding breakfast followed the
    ceremony in Isle View restaurant
    and a reception was given in the
    Gratwick Fire Hall.
    Showers for the bride-elect were
    given by Mrs. Kenneth Kreger,
    Mrs. Fred Kuhn and Mrs. William
    Bacon.

    William G. Bacon "Sr., 78, of 231
    Canton St., Tonawanda, an engineer
    for the Great Lakes Towing Co. for 52
    years, died yesterday at DeGraff
    Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
    Mr. Bacon was a member of the
    Licensed Tugmen's Protective
    Association and St. Francis of Assisi
    Church and a charter member of its
    Holy Name Society.
    He is survived by his wife, Mildred;
    a daughter, Mrs. Robert Giuseppetti of
    North Tonawanda; two sons, William
    G. Bacon Jr. of the Town of
    Tonawanda and Robert J. Bacon of
    Tonawanda; 12 grandchildren, and a
    brother George A. Bacon of
    Tonawanda.
    Services will be conducted at the
    Brunner Funeral Home, North
    Tonawanda, at 9 a.m. Thursday,
    followed by a Mass of the Resurrection
    at 9:30 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi
    Church. Burial will be at 9:30 a.m.
    Friday in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Town
    of Tonawanda.

    St. Francis of Assisi Church was
    the setting of a pretty Spring wedding
    May 16, when Miss Marie A.
    Bacon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    William G. Bacon became the,
    bride of Robert R. Giuseppetti, son
    of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Giuseppetti.
    The Rt. Rev. John A. Weismantel
    officiated at the double-ring
    ceremony. Miss Catherine Stalteri
    sang the nuptial high mass, "Ave
    Maria" and "Mother at Thy Feet
    is Kneeling" accompanied by Mrs.
    William Brick, organist.
    Given in marriage by her father,
    the bride wore a gown of white
    nylon chantilly lace and nylon tulle
    with a boat neckline, ° fitted bodice
    and long sleeves that pointed over
    her bands. The skirt was very full
    and was made of alternating tiers
    of lace and tulk which fell into a
    chapel length train. Her finger tip
    veil fell from a tiara made of lace
    and seed pearls. Her bouquet was
    a cascade of white roses and white
    carnations with a white orchid in
    the center.
    Miss Patricia M. Jackson, the
    maii of honor, wore a yellow gown
    of lace and net fashioned with an
    apron effect and a strapless bodice
    with a lace jacket. Her head piece
    was a tiara of feathers with, a short
    veil over her face. She carried a
    cascade of Talisman roses. The
    bridesmaids were- Mrs. Allan B.
    Hopkins, Miss Joyce A. Burt and
    Miss Carol M. Nedell. Their gowns

    were respective to the maid of
    honor's only in blue. They carried
    cascades of yellow roses. Nancy
    Townsend, cousin of the bride,

    was flower girl. She wore a yellow
    dress similar to the maid of honor's
    and carried a small cascade of
    Talisman roses.
    John Giuseppetti, the grooms'
    brother, was best man. Ushers
    were Allan B. Hopkins, Marino Di-
    Simone and Vernon Walters
    The bride's mother chose a dress
    of navy blue lace. She wore pink
    accessories and a corsage of pink
    roses and carnations. The bride
    groom's mother wore a dress of
    pink lace accented by navy blue
    accessories. Her corsage was of
    white roses and carnations.
    A reception was given in the eve
    ning at the VFW Hall. The brides'
    table was decorated with spring,
    flowers and was centered with a
    modernistic wedding cake.
    For traveling to the Pocono Mts..
    the bride chose a blue and white
    coat dress ensemble with red accessories
    and a white orchid cor-
    sage. The couple are now at home
    in 561 Woodward Ave.
    Pre-nuptial parties for the bride
    were given by Miss Josephine C.
    Bacon. Mrs. Robert J. Bacon, Mrs.
    George A. Bacon. Miss Patricia M.
    Jackson, Mrs. Allan B. Hopkins.
