    daughter, Katherine E. to William
    G. Bacon, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Bacon Sr. of Hillcrest Rd. A June
    wedding is planned.

    Basket of white gladioli decorated the alter of St. John

    the Baptist Church in Kenmore for the marriage on June
    19 of Miss Katherine E. Meyers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    Eugene F. Meyers to William G. Bacon, Jr. 'The Rt. Rev.
    Charles Klauder officiated. Mrs. Robert Giusseppetti (Marie
    Bacon), sister of the groom was soloist.
    Given in marriage by her father,
    the bride selected a gown of chantilly
    lace and nylon tulle over satin.
    It was fashioned with a fitted
    bodice of lace over satin with a
    yoke of delicate illusion. Long lace
    sleeves formed a point on her
    hand. The bouffant skirt of tulle

    had an over piece of scalloped
    which widened at the back to a
    panel and extended with a sweep
    train. Her veil of French illusion
    was caught to a Chantilly lace cap,
    studded with seed pearls and she
    carried a fan of white roses and
    lilies-of-the-valleys.
    Miss loretta Meyers, sister of
    the bride was maid-of-honor. She
    wore a waltz-length gown of dream
    blue nylon tulle and lace over taf-
    feta fashioned in a Botany neck-
    line in a lace bodice and lace fish-
    tail peplum. Her head-piece con-
    sisted of a halo, fashioned with
    lilies-of-the-valley and white net.
    She carried a white lace fan with

    yellow carnations. The bridesmaids
    wore similar gowns and head
    pieces of orchid and maize, and
    carried fans with red and yellow
    carnations. They were Miss Mary
    Ellen Meyers, cousin of the bride
    and Mrs. John Clark.
    The little flower girl, Nancy
    Townsend, cousin of the groom
    wore a floor-length gown of net
    and lace over taffeta with a dutch
    cap and carried a fan with pink
    carnations.
    Robert Bacon, brother of the
    bridegroom was best man and the
    ushers were Robert Giuseppetti
    and Donald Kreger.
    The bride's mother favored a

    gown of coral lace over taffeta. A
    contrasting hat and orchid corsage
    completed her costume. The bridegroom's
    mother was attired in a
    navy blue lace gown over taffeta,
    wearing a fiesta-pink hat and
    matching corsage.
    After the ceremony a wedding
    breakfast was given in the Shadow
    Box Room at Howard Johnson's for
    the immediate families and out-oftown
    guests which included Mr.
    and Mrs. William Herrmann and
    son, Leo of Richmond Hill, Long

    Island.
    A reception was given in the eve-
    ning at Kenilworth Fire Hall. The
    couple left for a trip through the
    New England States. They will be
    at home in Kenmore after July 15.
