    COLUMBUS, OH — Jean Lingham Wakeman, 71, of Leland, NC, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Kobacker House, Columbus, OH. She was born on June 6, 1940 in Ayer, MA, to the late Philip Marston Lingham and Dorothy (Hodgson) Lingham.

    Jean was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School, Mt. Lebanon, PA and received an Associate in Business from Mount Union College, Alliance, OH, where she was active in the Alpha Delta Phi Sorority. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Lockport, NY.

    Jean is survived by Ross, her loving husband of fifty years; two sons, David (Deanna) Wakeman, Columbus, OH and Stephen (Nancy) Wakeman, Arlington, VA; three grandchildren, Sarah, Nicolas and Andrew Wakeman; and brother, Richard Lingham, Jefferson, OH.

    A memorial service will be held on May 5, 2012, at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 75 East Ave., Lockport, NY, at 3:30 PM with burial following at Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to Kobacker House/OhioHealth Foundation and sent to the OhioHealth Foundation at 180 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215-3707. Please indicate your gift in memory of Jean Lingham Wakeman.

    WILSON, Aug. 3.-The marriage of
    Miss Dora A. Campbell a member of
    the Wilson High school faculty, daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel E. Campbell
    of the Weat Lake road, to Wirt
    G. Wakeman was solemnized at the
    home of the bride's parents on Saturday.
    July 28th at 4:00 o'clock. The
    Rev. Alfred L. Underhlll, officiating,
    rising the impressive ring service. The
    Lohengrin wedding march was played
    by Miss Myra E. Wakeman. sister of
    the groom. The ceremony took place
    .tmder a beautiful arch of pink and
    White flowers. The bride was charming
    In a gown of point de sprit lace
    with ruffles of the same material
    feathered, making a butterfly effect,
    With a wreath of orange blossoms In
    her hair. She carried an arm bouquet
    of brides roses and gypsophelias. She
    was attended by her sister. Miss Esther
    Campbell who was attired in pink taf-
    feta trimmed with ruffles and carried

    Immediately following the ceremony,
    "dinner was "served covers being laid for
    twenty-four, twelve being seated at the
    brides table. The house and table
    decorations were in pink find white,
    hweet peas predominating. The happy
    teouple left amid showers of rice on a
    motor trip to Boston and other Eastern
    points. The bride's going away
    gown being Rajah silk and hat and
    ahoes of contrasting colors. Upon
    their return they will make their
    home In Wilson vlllaee. Among the
    out-of-town guest were Mr. and Mrs.
    Chauncoy R. Hatch and daughters. Kmma,
    Jane and Chaunrey, Jr.. of Buffalo,
    and Derby on the Lake, Miss Esther
    Campbell of Buffalo. Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred
    Behulze of Niagara Falls and
    Miss Laura Alvers of Orchard park.
