    REBEKAH ELLEN BAEHR HILLMAN LEDER went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 23, 2019 surrounded be her loving family.  Becky was born September 28, 1944 to Donald Wolter Baehr and Lucy Pauline Klatt Baehr.  She is survived by her brother Philip (Judy) Baehr of Appleton, New York and her sister, Ruth (Chase) Ferree-Bowman of Burt, New York.  Also surviving are her children, Andrew Hillman of East Aurora, New York and Sarah McKee of Newfane, New York and her five grandchildren, Spencer Moore, Chauncey McKee, Caleb Hillman, Darren Hillman and Ada Hillman.   Also two dear aunts, numerous cousins, many nieces and nephews.  She is survived by her former husband, Patrick Hillman of Newfane.  Predeceased by her husband Ernest Leder and by loving partner, Richard Hudson.  She was blessed with many cherished friends.  She attended Lyndonville Central School through the 7th grade, graduate of Wilson Central School, Concordia Teacher's College in River Forest, Illinois and received her Master's Degree from University of Buffalo.  She enjoyed teaching for 35 years having taught in Westfield, New Jersey, Anchorage, Alaska, St. Peter Lutheran School at North Ridge, Lockport, New York, Immanuel Nursery School, Lockport, New York and Barker Central School, Baker, New York.  Becky was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Newfane, New York for 48 years.  She was Chairman of the Board of Education, Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, Children's Choir Director, Church Organist for over 50 years, Bible Class Leader, Eucharistic Minister and enjoyed sharing Stephen Ministry materials.  She cherished her family, dear church family and being with friends and loved to laugh.  She was a member of ENCARTA, the Eastern Niagara County Association of Retired Teachers and several book clubs.  Becky always loved her Lord, treasured life, children, music, reading and travel, seeing God's beautiful world and nature.  There will be no prior visitation, but all are invited to attend a Memorial Service of Praise to God at 11:00 on Saturday, June 1st at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2730 Transit Road, Newfane, New York 14108.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  Memorial to Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church for Haiti Orphanage would be appreciated.     ciated at the double ring cere-
    money Jan. 5, 1969 uniting in
    marriage the daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. Donald W. Baehr,
    3618 Beebe Road, and the son
    of Richard Hillman, Saranac
    Lake, and the late Mrs. Dor-
    thea Hillman.
    Given in marriage by her
    father, t h e bride was attired
    in an A-line style gown of sat-
    in styled with long sleeves and
    a mink trimmed c o l l a r . A
    matching fur headpiece held
    her silk illusion veil and she
    carried a fur muff topped
    with a corsage of pompons
    and a white orchid.
    Mrs. Wesley Ferington Jr.,
    sister of the bride, was mat-
    ron of honor. She wore a royal
    blue brocade gown and car-
    ried a long stemmed pink
    rose. Similarly attired was
    Mrs. Philip Baehr, brides-
    maid. Donna Baehr, niece of
    the bride, was flower girl.
    Edward Bragoo was best
    man. Ushers were Philip
    Baehr, brother of the bride,
    and Wesley Ferington.
    A reception was held after
    the ceremony at the Newfane
    Fire Hall. the couple traveled
    in Canada for their wedding
    trip.
    The couple will leave later
    this month for Alaska where
    they will make their home
    while the bridegroom is sta-
    tioned thre with the U.S.
    Army. The bride is a former
    elementary teacher at Luther-
    an Church Day School, West-
    field, N.J.

    were held today for Edward
    R. Baehr, 79, of 10603 Freeman
    Road, who died Saturday (Feb.
    14, 1970) at the Medina
    Memorial Hospital where he
    had been a patient for one day.
    Services were held at the
    Medina Trinity L u t h e r an
    Church, of which he was a
    member. The Rev. -Wilbur R.
    Lottes officiated and burial was
    in Mount Pleasant Cemetery,
    West Shelby.
    the family said that donations
    to the church Memorial
    fund or, the American Heart
    Association would be acceptable
    as tributes.
    The son Of Karl and
    Augustena (Schuler) Baehr, he
    was born Jan. J4, 1891. In the
    town of Royalton. He had been
    an inspector for Harrison Radiator
    Division, General Motors
    Corp., prior to his retirement
    13 yeans ago.
    Surviving are his widow, the
    former Christine Wolter; three
    sons, Donald of Newfane,
    Kennneth of Holley and Karl of
    Middleport; two daughters,
    Mrs. Edward (June) Cloary of
    Lockport and Mrs. Edward
    (Audrey) Bielisky of Medina;
    a brother, Fred of Miami, Fla.;
    three sisters, Mrs. M a t i e
    Leverentz, Niagara Falls, Mrs
    Edith Aiken and Mrs. Mildred
    Lehman, both of North
    Tonawanda; 20 grandchildren;
    14 great-grandchildren and
    several nieces and nephews.
    A daughter, Mrs. Joyce E.
    Kenney, died Feb. 1,1959.

    Wednesday afternoon, occurred she
    marriage of Miss Christina Wolter to
    Mr. Edward Baehr, both of Shelby,

    was gowned in a blue traveling costume
    and earried a bouquet of sweet
    peas. Miss Matie Baehr, a sister of
    the groom, was bridesmaid, and was
    attired in a blue suit, and carried

    SANBORN, April 23, - Charles F. Baehr, 83,died at his home at West Shelby on Sunday after an illness of two weeks. He is survived by his wife, Augustina; two sons, Fred, of Miami, Fla.; Edward, of Shelby; four daughters, Mrs. Andrew Voelker of Middleport: Mrs. Clarence Leverentz of North Tonawanda: Mrs. Ralph Aiker of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Frank Lehman of Griffon street, Sanborn and 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p. m. at the home and at 2:30 at Trinity Lutheran church at Medina. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant cemetery at West Shelby.

    Services for Mrs. Augustina Schuler Baehr, 84, widow of Charles Baehr who died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Andrew Voelker, Middleport, were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from Trinity Lutheran Church, Medina with the Rev. Herman Meier officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, West Shelby. Mrs. Baehr, who was born in Johnsburg and has been a resident of Middleport for the past six years, was a member of the Lutheran Church.

    On Wednesday, Jan. 4th the
    golden wedding anniversary oh
    Mr. and Mrs. Charles Baehr was
    celebrated at their hone in Shelby
    Center. On Jan. 4, 1883 they
    were married by Rev. Staerker in
    Wolcottsvllle, N. Y.
    Their brothers and sisters with
    their respective spouses, the children
    and grandchildren assembled
    at the residence at 8 o'clock p. m.
    The celebration was begun with a
    short service, Rev. C. Poeekler officiating.
    After a solo on the words
    of Pa. 91, i-6 by the pastor, he also
    gave an address on 1 Samuel 7,18:
    "Then Samuel took a stone, and
    set it between Mfsoeh and Shen,
    and called the name of it Ebenezer,
    saying. Hitherto hath the
    Lord helped us." Then the golden
    wedding ritual was used closing
    with prayer suitable for the occasion.
    The service ended by another
    solo by the pastor:
    "All depends on our possessing
    God's free love and grace blessing.
    Though all earthly wealth depart;
    He who God for bis hath taken,
    'Mid the changing world unshaken
    Keeps a free, heroic heart.
    He who hitherto hath fed me.
