    marriage took place August 2 in
    the rectory of St. Teresa's church,
    this city, with the Rev. .John Ryan
    officiating.
    Miss Gladys Stephen, sister of
    the. bride, was the maid of honor
    and Mr Robert Bagwell, brother
    of the bridegroom. *as the best

    After the wedding breakfast at

    Bagwell, 74, of Townline Road,
    died at his h o m e Saturday
    (Dee. 29, 1962) after a lengthy
    Illness.
    He was born March'8, 1888,
    In the Town of Cambria, the
    son of Charles T. and Salena
    Moyer Bagwell. He had resided
    throughout hia life on
    the farm formerly owned by
    his father, which he had operated-
    for many years. In the
    last 20 years, Mr. Bagwell developed
    the property into a
    thriving nursery.
    A son, Robert, haa been
    associated with his father in
    the nursery business.
    Mr. Bagwell Is survived also
    by two other sons, Donald of
    Albany and R i c h a r d of
    P/hoenix, Ariz.; a daughter,
    Marjorie, also of Phoenix; and
    a- sister, Mrs. W i l l i am
    O'Laughlin, of Sanborn.
    In deference to Mr. Bagwell's
    wishes, private funeral
    services were conducted at
    the Pike and Jones Funeral
    Home Inc., Rev. Benson Benton
    of S a n b o r n Methodist
    Church officiating.
    The family said that memorial
    contributions 'may be
    made" to the charity of the
    donor's choice.

    -Mrs. Anna
    Bagwell, "52 years old, wife of J.
    Murray Bawgell, of the Town line
    road, died Sunday night at a Buffalo
    hospital. Funeral services will
    be held tomorrow at 2 p. m. at the
    family home with the Rev. Frank
    N. Taft officiating. Interment will
    be in Memorial Park cemetery.
    Mrs. Bagwell was born in the
    Town of Wheafield, a daughter of
    Mr. and Mrs. Christian Shenk, After
    her marriage she moved to the
    Town Line road north of Sanborn
    where she had resided for a number
    of years. She was an active
    member of Sanborn Auxiliary, American
    Legion.
    Mrs. Bagwell was the mother of
    Majorie, Donald, Robert and Richard
    Bagwell, all at home; and sister
    of Mrs. Esther Nelson, Irene and
    Howard Shenk, of Sanborn, N. Y,
    George Shenk. of Albany, N. Y,
    Harrison Shenk, of Machias, N. Y„
    and Harold Shenk, of Cleveland,
    Ohio. Several nieces and nephews
    also survive.

    BURT, June 8 - Fire at 5:30 o'clock this morning totally destroyed the farm home of Charles Bagwell in the Jockey road near here. The Olcott and Newfane firemen were called but the place was a seething mass of flames before they arrived. The barn and other nearby farm buildings were saved by the firemen. Everything in the house was destroyed. The flames were discovered by Mrs. Bagwell who was the first one up. She notified the rest of the family and all escaped scantily clad One farm hand who was sleeping in an upper room was forced to throw his clothing from the window and Jump. He suffered from cuts and bruises. The value of the house is placed at $6,000 and the furniture at $2,000, partly covered by Insurance.

    Fears Farmhand Lost in Fire
    Employe of Charles Bagwell Disappears after House Destroyed
    LOCKPORT, June 9.- A farm hand employed by Charles T. Bagwell, whose home near Olcott was burned early yesterday morning is missing and it is believed he may have perished in the flames. A search is being conducted for him today. His name was not learned. A story that he had an argument with Bagwell and set the house on fire has been denied. Mr. Bagwell says he has had no trouble with the man. Whether or not he was asleep in the house during the fire is unknown. The Bagwell family and another farm hand escaped In their night clothing.

    BURT, Aug. 25.-Funeral services
    for Charles T. Bagwell, 77, well
    known Jockey road fanner, who
    died yesterday, will be held from the
    home tomorrow afternoon at 2
    o'clock, daylight saving time, and at
    Pekln cemetery at 3 o'clock. Members
    of Sanborn Lodge, I. O. O. P.,
    of which Mr. Bagwell was a member,
    will have charge of the services
    at the grave.

    Interment will be in Pekln cemetery.

    Mrs. Selena Moyer Bagwell, 76 years
    old. a resident of Niagara county for
    the greater part of her life, died yesterday
    at the home of her daughter.
    Mrs. William C. "O'Laughlin, 2250
    Pierce avenue.
    Mrs. Bagwell, who was born In
    Vlneland. Ont. a daughter of the alte
    Henry and Barbara Moyer., came to
    this countrty 50 years ago. She lived
    most of that time in Sanborn, coming
    to Niagara Palls to make her home
    with her daughter seven years ago.
    She is survived by Mrs. O'Laughlin;
    a son, J. Murray Bagwell, of Town
    Line road. Sanborn, and four grandchildren.
    Puneral serevlces will be held from
    the O'Laughlln home Sunday at 2:30
    p. m.. with the Rev. J. P. Leffler officiating.
    Interment will be in Memorial
    Park cemetery.

    Sanborn, Sept. 29. John B. Bag-
    well, a farmer, 84 years old. cut his
    throat with a razor last night and
    then Jumped into Cayuga creek.
    which flows in the rear of bis farm.
    His body was found this morning by
    Mrs. William Raymond, a daughter
    Bagwell had a cancer of the face
    and had suffered for the last six
    months, and the pain is thought to
    have caused him to take his life. Cor-
    oner Helwig of North Tonawanda
    held an inquest and gave a verdict of
    death by suicide. Funeral services
    will be held at the family home tomorrow
    and burial will be in Mount
    View cemetery at Pekln.
    Mr. Bagwell Is survived by three
    daughters and one son, Mrs. Raymond,
    who lives on the farm; Mrs. A.
    M. Barber of Sanborn, Mrs. Elmer
    Richardson of Seattle, Wash., and
    Charles Bagwell, an Olcott farmer.
