    Lucy Grabowski (nee Bajorek), 86, of North Tonawanda, NY, rejoined her beloved Norm on February 14, 2023. Dear mother of Lisa Simons, Stan (Janice), Jim (Suad), David (Lisa), and infant son Christopher (1965). Loving grandmother of Zachary, Jeanne and Lindsey Simons and Nejla Grabowski. Foster mom/gram of Shirley, Nick and Brandon LaVan. A dynamo with a most generous heart, Lucy was a savvy talented homemaker, seamstress, gardener, natural-born teacher and artist. She worked at Buffalo Aerospace, Diet Workshop, sold display ads and became Classified Ad Mgr at the Tonawanda News, and helped establish CanalFest. Lucy volunteered tirelessly for church and community non-profits and was a Cancer Coach. Visitation Sunday, Feb. 26, 4:00 - 6 PM at Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St, North Tonawanda. Celebration of Life, Monday, Feb. 27, 11:30 AM at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church, 157 Cleveland Dr, Buffalo 14215.

    Given in marriage by her father,
    the bride wore a gown of
    white pure silk featuring a Belgium
    lace yoke and short sleeves.
    Lace appliques encircled the bouf-
    fant skirt. She wore matching
    mitts. A Lace crown, trimmed in
    seed pearls an dsequins held her
    hand rolled scalloped veil. She car-
    ried a Colonial bouquet of white
    roses which she presented at the
    altar of the Virgin Mary.
    Miss Elaine Bajorek, maid of
    honor for her sister, wore a bal-
    lerina length gown of sheer white
    nylon over pink, made on princess
    lines with a full skirt.
    The bridesmaids were Miss Syl-
    via Bajorek, another sister of the
    bride, and Miss Nancy Majorek,
    the bride's cousin. They wore
    white sheer nylon over blue. Miss
    Jody Grabowski, the bridegroom's
    niece, dressed like the maid of
    honor, was junior bridesmaid. All
    wore crowns to match the gowns
    and carried Colonial bouquets of
    pink and white carnations tied in
    pink or blue.
    Edward Lorence was the bride-
    groom's best man. Fred Wisniew-
    sky and Melvin Verall, a cousin
    of the bridegroom, were ushers
    and Thomas Bajorek, thebride's
    brother, was a junior usher.
    Mrs. Bajorek chose a brown
    polka dotted sheer dress for her
    daughter's wedding. At the recep-
    tion she wore a blue lace dress
    with matching accessories andn
    a pink rose corsage.
    A wedding breakfast served im-
    mediately after the ceremony was
    followed by a reception in the
    American Legion Hall.
    Mr. and Mrs. Grabowski trav-
    eled to the Pocono Mountains an d
    Philadelphia, the bride wearing an
    aqua linen suit and matching ac-
    cessories. They are a home in 126
    Third Ave.

    Jane Ward Nursing Home in
    Niagara Falls after several
    years' illness.
    Born in Poland, he lived in
    this city for 65 years and work-
    ed as a foreman of the foundry
    at the Niagara Radiator Co.,
    ing 10 years ago. He was a
    member of St. Francis of Asissi
    Church.
    Mr. Bajorek is survived by
    his wife, Mrs. Karoline Bajor-
    ek; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd
    Davidson and Mrs. Edward
    Goetz; five sons, Alphonse,
    Adolph and alexander, all of
