    double ring ceremony at 11
    o'clock this morning (Sept. 24,
    1955) at Our Lady of the Rosary
    Church uniting in matrimony
    Miss Lois Stacey and Frank. R.
    Gniazdowski.
    The bride is the daughter of
    Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Stacey,
    Ransomville, and the bridegroom
    is the son of Mrs. Anna
    Gniazdowski. 23 rd St. White
    gladioli and chrysanthemums
    decorated the altar for the. rite
    at which Mrs. Marion Gniazdowski,
    sister-in-law of the bridegroom,
    was soloist.
    Given in marriage by her
    father, the bride wore a gown

    of roscpoint lace, tulle and satin
    with a bertha collar trimmed in
    sequins and a bouffant skirt
    cascading into a chapel-length
    train. She wore a contour crown
    of lace which held her'double illusion
    scalloped veil and carried
    an orchid on a prayer book.
    Miss Helen Gniazdowski, sister
    of the bridegroom, was maid
    of honor in a turquoise gown of
    nchiffon with,shirred draped
    neckline and attached stole. She
    wore a headband of horsehair
    rosettes with a face veil and
    carried yellow carnations.
    Pink gowns were worn by the
    bridal attendants, Mrs. Harold
    Stacey, Rochester; Miss Betty

    House, this city, and Miss Aud-
    rey Baker, Ransomville. They
    carried blue carnations.
    Donald McGuire, this city,
    was best man. The ushers were
    Harold Stacey, Rochester; Adam
    G n i a z d o w s k i , and Marion
    Gniazdowski, both of this city.
    The reception was held at the
    Century Club this afternoon.
    Mrs. Stacey wore a navy blue
    lace dress with pink accessories
    and a corsage of pink roses.
    The mother of the bridegroom
    favored a light blue lace dress
    with black accessories and a corsage
    of pink roses.
    The bride will depart on the
    Wedding trip to Florida in a
    three piece black watch plaid
    silit With navy blue and red accessories
    and an orchid corsage.
    Upon returning, Mr. and Mrs.
    Gniazdowski will be at home at
    the Y o r k s h i r e Apartments,
    Ninth St.

    RANSOMVILLE. Mar. 3.-A very
    pretty wedding took place at the
    Methodist Episcopal parsonage on
    Friday evening, February 24th, at
    7 o'clock, when Elberta Lucile Baker,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. L Baker
    of Porter Center, was united In marriage
    to Gordon M. Stacey of Ransomville.
    Supper was served following
    the .ceremony, for the Immediate
    families and attendants.

    R A N S O M V I L L E ^ Mrs ,
    Emily Jane. Baker; 97, a member
    of one of the early fam-
    ilies in the Town of Porter,

    died Tuesday (June 29, 1971)
    in Ransomville General Hospital
    where she had been a
    patient for seven years..
    She was the widow of Elbert
    Baker who died in 1938. Mrs.
    Baker was born In England
    Dec. 4, 1873, and came to the
    United States at the age of 5.
    She was a charter member
    of the Ransomville WCTU. a
    former member of Porter
    Center Methodist Church, and
    a member of the Dickersonville
    United Methodist Church.
    She is survived by two
    daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Elberta)
    Stacy, of 3778 Ransom-
    ville Road, with whom she
    lived for 29 years, and Mrs..
    George (Mildred) Oderkirk of
    Bergen, and five sons, Lawrence,
    Courtland, A r t h u r,
    Frank, and Howard Baker,
    all of Ransomville, 145 grandchildren
    and 24 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be
    held at 2 p.m., Thursday at the
    Hardison Funeral Home, Ransomville,
    with the Rev. Edward
    Deighton of the Dickersonville
    U n i t e d Methodist
    Church officiating. .Burial will
    be in North Ridge Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the
    funeral home from 2 to 5'p..m.
    and 7 to 8 p.m. today.
