    NORTH TONAWANDA -
    Benjamin W. Wolansky, 69, of
    39S4 Moyer Road, Town of
    Wheatfield, died Sunday (Jan.
    9, 1966) after suffering an
    apparent heart attack while
    walking in the woods in the
    rear of his home. He was pronounced
    dead on arrival at
    DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
    He was a lifelong resident
    of the area and was formerly
    employed as a custodian at|
    the State Armory in Tonawanda,
    retiring last October.
    Mr. Wolansky served in the
    Coast Guard during World
    War II.
    Survivors i n c l u d e his
    widow, the former Florence
    Fleichman; a daughter, Mrs.
    Walter (Shirley) Baker. Tonawanda;
    a son, Frank Gandt.
    this city; a sister, Mrs. Wi'lliam
    (Hazel) Barrett, Lockport;
    a brother, Le Grand
    Wolansky, Blue Point, L.I.;
    and 12 grandchildren.
    Services will be conducted
    at 1:30. p.m. Wednesday in
    the Brunner Funeral Home,
    Rev. Eldon Snyder- officiating.
    Burial will be in St. Mathew's
    Lutheran Cemetery.
    Friends may call from 2 to
    4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral
    home.

    WOLANSKY Florence A. (nee
    Fleischman) (Gandt) Wolansky, 82,
    of Tonawanda, Sunday (November
    9, 1986) at DeGraff Memorial Hospi
    tal, after a brief illness. Born on
    Grand Island, she had been a resident
    of the Tonawandas for the
    greater part of her life and was the
    wife of the late Frank Gandt and
    Benjamin Wolansky and sister of the
    late William Fleischman, Kathryn
    Mayer and Ruth Heinrich.
    She is survived by a son, Frank R.
    (Esther) Gandt of Pt. Charlotte,
    Fla. and a daughter, Shirley B.
    Baker of Tonawanda; a brother,
    Charles Fleischman of North Tonawanda;
    12 grandchildren, Carol
    (Kenneth) Zuhr, Nancy (Peter)
    Schweigel, Walter (Joyce) Baker
    III, Robert (Ann) Baker, Barbara
    (John) Zielen, Cynthia (Patrick)
    Youngkins, Candace Brant, Frank
    (Marjie) Gandt Jr , Jeffrey Gandt,
    Bruce (Kathy) Gandt, David
    (Karen) Russell and Patricia
    (William) Werth; also survived by
    28 great-grandchildren and several
    nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call Monday and
    Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at
    John O Roth Funeral Home,
    Morgan and William Sts., Tonawanda
    where services will be conducted
    at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev.
    Eldon D. Snyder. Burial will be in St.
    Matthew Lutheran Cemetery. In
    lieu of flowers, memorial contributions
    may be made to the Arthritis
    Foundation of W.N. Y.
