    LOCKPORT — V. Richard Boye, 46, passed away on May 19, 2012. Born on May 25, 1965 in Lockport, he was the son of Patricia (Rooney) Boye of Lockport and the late Victor W. Boye, who passed away in 1978. He was a graduate of Lockport High School and also SUNY Fredonia. Richard worked for Michael's in Amherst.

    Besides his mother, he is also survived by several sisters; nephew of Doralyn B. Marshall of Lockport; and also several cousins.

    There will be no prior visitation. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

    LOCKPORT — Patricia A. Boye passed away July 25, 2012 in Niagara Hospice House. Born August 11, 1930 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Hugh and Agnes (Rooney) LaFever. Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Victor W. Boye, in 1978 and also by her son, V. Richard Boye on May 19, 2012.

    She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Dacus of Nevada and two sons, Matthew Lewis of California and Michael Lewis of Colorado.

    Fugl mums formed the setting for
    the marriage of Miss Mary Louise
    Baker and Victor W. Boye in a
    candlelight ceremony at 7:30 Saturday
    evening at First Presbyterian
    Church, Dr. Stephen K
    Palmer officiated at the ceremony
    uniting the daughter of Mr
    and Mrs. Clarence H. Baker of 84
    Niagara St. and the son of Mr
    and Mrs. Victor R. Boye of 252
    Willow St.
    Mr. Baker gave his daughter
    in marriage. She was attired
    1B a ballerina-length
    gown of white lace with a
    redingote effect over pleated
    nylon and a fitted bodice Maturing
    a V-neckline and standop
    cellar. A headpiece of white
    lace held her fingertip veil
    and she carried a cascade
    arrangement of Fugl mums
    and pompons.
    Mrs. Edward Melzer of Buffalo,
    was matron of honor in a gown
    of green iridescent taffeta, with
    a tucked neckline, fitted bodice
    and ballerina skirt of impressed
    pleats. She wore a matching head
    band etched with seed pearls and
    her bouquet was of bronze pom-
    pons. Miss Doralyn Boye

    bie.
    Attending the bridegroom were
    Robert L. Pass, as best man, and
    Duane Reggentlne, Glen Werth,
    Don Oliver and Lavero Glena as
    ushers.
    A program of traditional wedding
    music was played by Mrs.
    Patrick Madriska, organist, and
    James Pletcher was soloist.
    Per her daughter's wedding,
    Mrs. Baker chose a drees ef
    blue velvet with a feathered
    hat la a lighter shade ef Mae.
    Mrs. Boye were a dress ef
    plum' colored velvet with a
    white sequin hat. Each were
    a white corsage.
    Following a reception at Green
    Acres, the couple left for a wedding
    trip to the New England
    States. The bride wore a rose
    tweed suit with black accessories.
    Upon their return, the couple will
    reside on Harrison Avenue, 01-
    cott.
    Out-of-town guests ware from
    Buffalo, Hamburg, and East Aurora.
    The bride attended the New
    York State School of Applied Arts
    and Sciences at Utica. The groom,
    who served In the U. S. Navy,
    was graduated from the New York
    State School of Applied Arts and
    Sciences at Buffalo.
    Prior to her marriage the
    bride was entertained at parties
    given by co-workers in
    the Business Office of the New
    York Telephone Co., Miss
    Boye, Mrs. Carl Reggeatine
    and Mrs. Martin Gartner. The
    rehearsal dinner was given by
    the bridegroom's parents.

    Boye, 55, of 252 Willow St., former
    Republican committeeman of the
    4th Ward, died yesterday afternoon
    in City Hospital.
    He was born in Newfane, but
    lived-most ofvhis life here. He had
    served as secretary of the Republi-
    can City Committee and as a member

    of the Board of Health Commissioners
    under former Mayor Edward
    H. Gailor.
    Mr. Boye was a member of Red

    Jacket Lodge No. 686, F&AM, and
    a member of St. Peter's Evangelical
    and Reformed Church. He had.been
    employed for 29 years in the office
    of Harrison Radiator Division, General
    Motors Corp., here.
    Surviving are his-wife, the former
    Marguerite Weber; a son, Victor
    W. Boye, and a daughter, Doralyn
    M. Boye; his mother, Mrs. Mary
    Boye, this city; two sisters and two
    brothers, Edward H. Boye, Buf-
    falo; Mrs. Otto W. Kandt, this city;
    Frank J. Boye, Lancaster, and Miss

    Services-will be Thursday at 2

    p.m. at the Prudden and Kandt
    Funeral Home. Burial will be in

    Henry Boye, 70, retired farmer,
    died at 8 o'clock this morning at his
    home, 364 Willow street. He had been
    in failing health for several months.
    Mr. Boye was born March 9, 1859,
    in Mecklenburg, Germany, but came
    t o this country at the age of fifteen
    years. He settled in the town of Lancaster,
    Brie county, and lived there
    until 1883 when he moved to the
    Coomer road, Niagara county. In
    1904 he retired and came to live in
    this city.
    Surviving an his widow, Mrs.
    Mary Heintz Boye; four sons and
    two daughters, Edward H. Boye of
    Buffalo, John C. Boye of Hollywood,
    Calif., Mrs. Otto W. Kandt, Frank
    J. and Victor R. Boye, all of Lockport,
    and Emma S. Boye of Medina;
    nine grandchildren and one sister
    Mrs. Dora Greenwald of Buffalo.

    One of Lockport's oldest citizens
    d;ed Wednesday, five months
    short of her 100th birthday.
    Mrs. Mary Heintz Boye, 99, died
    at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
    Otto W. Kandt, 256 Willow St., after
    a short illness.
    Born in Germany on Nov. 16,
    1862, Mrs. Boye came to this country
    in 1882. Her family settled
    first in Lancaster and then moved
    to a farm on the Coomer Road,
    Newfane, before coming to Lockport
    in 1904. She was the daughter
    of Christian and Maria Niece
    Heintz.
    Ever since then, Mrs. Boye had
    lived in various houses, but always
    on Willow Street.
    Mrs. Boye was the oldest member
    of the English Lutheran
    Church and a former member of
    many organizations within t h e
    church.
    The widow of Henry Boye who
    died in 1935, Mrs. Boye Is survived
    bv one son, Edward H. Boye of
    Buffalo; two daughters, Mrs
    Kandt and Miss Emma F. Boye
    of Rochester; seven grandchildren;
    14 great - grandchildren;
    several nieces and a nephew.
    She was the mother of the late
    John C Frank J., Victor R. and
    Albert J. Boye.
    Friends may call at the Prudden
    and Kandt Funeral Home, 242
    Genesee St., beginning at 7 p.m.
    today, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
    p.m. tomorrow. Private funeral
    services conducted by the Rev.
    Robert Heffner of the First English
    Lutheran Church will be held
    at the funeral home Saturday.
    Mrs. Boye will be buried in
    Wright's Corners Cemetery.

    observed their forty-fifth wedding
    anniversary yesterday at their home
    on Willow street. A number of their
    friends called during the day to wish

    of 221 Caledonia street, former custodian
    of Hawley and North Park
    schools, died early today at the
    Lockport City hospital after a long
    Illness.
    Services will be held at 2 30 p.m.
    Sunday, with burial in Wright's
    Corners cemetery.
    Born in Wolcottsburg, N. Y.. son of
    Augusta Klrchoff and William
    Weber, he received his education in
    Erie county before his family camo
    to Lockport. For more than 25 years
    he was employed by the Board of
    Education. His last post was at
    North Park Junior high school,
    when failing health forced his retirement
    a few months ago. He was
    a member of St. Peter's Evangelical
    church and served on the church
    board.
    He was a Republican. a member
    of the Royal Arcanum, Redmen of
    the World and Moose.
    Mr. Weber married Minnie Geler,
    of Lockport. who died In June. 1942.
    Surviving are three daughters Mrs
    Martin B Gartner. Mrs. Victor R,
    Boye and Mrs. Carl W Reggentlne.
    and a brother. Ernest Weber, all of
    Lockport.
