NEWFANE, July 26 - LeRoy
W. Baldwin. 48. of East Avenue
died Sunday at Lockport City Hospital
after more than four months
illness. Born Dec. 1. 1PM, in Law
ton, Okla., he was brought by his
parents, the late Charles Baldwin
and Nellie LaRoche Baldwin, to
Newfane at the age of two years
and has since lived In this vicinity.
Mr. Baldwin had been employed
by Flint Kote Company, in Lockport,
for the last five pears and
before that worked for Curtis-
Wright, Incorporated in Buffalo. He
was a member of the Miller Hose
Company.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Evelyn Rutter of Wheeling,
W. Va., four children at home,
Joanne. Lawney, Carol and Douglas;
his mother, Mrs. Carol Miller
of Newfane and one brother.
Clifford Baldwin of Lackawanna
Services will be held at the Corwin
Funeral Home tomorrow at
8:30 and a half hour later at St.
Charles Church, Oicott. The Rev.
Lawrence DiGlovanni will officiate.
Burial will be at St. C h a r l es
Cemetery, Corwin.

MILLER - Nellie (Baldwin)
formerly of Newfane, N.Y. passed
away June 1, 1969 She is
survived by one son, Clifford
Baldwin of Buffalo, N.Y. and
three brothers, Harold LaRoche
and Ralph LaRoche, both of Ardmore,
Olcla., and Lauton La-
Roche of Lawton, Okla.; nine
grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren.
She was the mother
of the late LeRoy Baldwin.
Friends may call at their 7-9 p.m. and
convenience at the Sherrie Fu- and 7-9 p.m.
neral Home, East Ave., Newfane,
N.Y., where the family
will be present on Tuesday 7 to
9 p.m. and Wednesday 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral
services will be held on Thursday
(June 5, 1969) at 2 p.m.
Rev. Neil Arnold will officiate.
Interment will be in St. Charles
Cemetery, Corwin, N.Y.

At the English Lutheran parsonage
Tuesday, Dec 2, George W. Baldwin of
Wilson and Miss Nellie B. La Roche of
Lockport were united in marriage by
Rev. H. J. Watkins. They were attended
by Lewis Baldwin and Miss
Mary Francis Walsh. Mr. and Mrs.
Baldwin will reside south of Buffalo.
A nuptial mass was celebrated by
Rev. Father Uriel, who also performed
the ceremony. Miss Alice Deasy and
James McCabe attended the bridal
couple as bridesmaid and best man respectively.

Washington married Nettie about 1881. Nettie was born in Sep 1863 in New York; died between 1905 and 1910. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
