The home of Mrs. Esther Bale, No.
422 Seventh Street, was the scene of a
    double wedding last evening between
7 and 8 o'clock when her two daughters,
    Miss Elizabeth Amelia Bale and
Miss Anna Mabel Bale, were united
in marriage to Mr. Charles A. Smith
of Niagara Falls and Mr. Fred Loran
    McGee of Buffalo.
It was one of the most interesting
home weddings that has been cele-
    brated this autumn. The decorations
    were autumn foliage greenery and
    white ribbons.
The Rev. Arthur Cushing Dill, pas-
tor of the First Congregational Church,
    was the officiating clergyman. There
    were no atendants.
Promptly at 7 o'clock the first wed-
ding took place.. It was t h a t of Miss
Elizabeth Amelia Bale and Mr. Charles
    A. Smith. To the sweet strains of the
    bridal march from Lonengrin, plaped
by Miss Gertrude Brawn of Buffalo,
the two bridal parties and wedding
guests gathered in the wedding room.
The bride wore a becoming gray traveling
    suit and carried white carna,-
tions. She wore a hat to match. The
    ceremony was brief.
    After offering congratulations and
best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Smith the
second nuptial knot was tied which
united in marriage Miss Anna Mabel
Bale and Mr. Fred Loran McGee. The
bride wore a tan traveling suit and
h a t to match and carried white car-
    nations.
A wedding reception and supper fol-
    lowed the double ceremony. Including
relatives and friends about 35 guests
were in attendance. Later in the
evening Mr. Smith and bride departed
on their wedding journey for the Pac-
ific Coast and Mr. and Mrs. McGee
went east to New York and other
    Eastern cities.
    The wedding gifts were m a n y and
    beautiful, well attesting the popular-
    ity of the young people.
Among t h e guests at the wedding
were Mrs. F. S. Whittakes. Mrs. Wil-
iam Bale of Lewiston. Mrs. William
McGee of Washington, D. C, Mrs.
