    Trinity Lutheran church was the
    scene of a pretty wedding Saturday'
    afternoon at 5 o'clock, when Marie
    E. Plaster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    Albert W. Plaster, and Robert Ball,
    son of John L. Ball, were united in
    marriage by the Rev. Herman
    Meier, pastor of Trinity church.
    The bride, given In marriage by
    her father, wore a gown of velva
    ray taffeta made princess style
    with a sweetheart neckline and long
    circular train. Her finger-tip veil
    was caught with a tiara of orange
    blossoms. She carried a shower
    bouquet of white roses, sweet peas
    and gypsophlla. ,
    Miss Elva Burning, cousin of the
    bride, was her only attendant- She
    wore a gown of aqua velva ray
    mouseline de sole, made princess
    style with sweetheart neckline and
    carried a shower bouquet of Johanna
    Hill roses, forget-me-nots
    and sweet peas.
    Erwin Reinholtz, organist, played
    a 15-minute organ recital preceding
    the ceremony. The altar was decorated
    with white carnations In gold
    vases with white candles In gold
    candelabra. Ferns and palms
    banked the lower part of the altar.
    The bride's mother wore a blue
    and white figured dress and a corsage
    of Johanna Hill roses, sweet
    peas and daisies.
    John J. Ball, brother of the
    groom, acted as beat man, and
    ushers were Walter Karsten and
    Paul Behrens.
    A dinner to 36 was served at Hy-
    Gate Manor, with 11 seated at the
    bridal table which was centered
    with a three-tiered wedding cake.
    A reception to 100 guests was held
    later at the home of the bride.
    Mr. and Mrs. Ball left for a trip
    to Washington, the bride wearing

    a blue figured dress with navy and
    white accessories.
    Pre-nuptial events for the bride
    Included a peach and turquoise
    bathroom shower given by Mrs.
    Herbert Nichols; a blue and dusty
    rose bedroom shower, by Mrs. Otto
    Plaster, Mrs. Henry Bruning and
    Mrs- Albert Claude.
    A dinner and personal shower at
    Hy-Gate Manor given by Miss
    Gladys Claude; a black, white and
    red kitchen shower given by Mrs.
    Elton Donner and Mrs. Franklin
    Munger; a variety shower given by
    Mrs. Albert Behrens and a china
    shower given by Miss Elva Bruning
    and Mrs. Harold Lake.
