    Surviving are his mother,
    Mrs. Louisa Zastrow; one
    sister, Mrs. John (Edna),
    Kluth of Hamlin; and a
    niece, Mrs. Harlan Weitz.
    Interment was in Parma
    Union Cemetery.. Memorials
    to St. Paul's Lutheran Church
    Building Fund will be ap-
    preciated.

    Frederick Winter, 94. passed away
    at 1:13 a. m. Wednesday, March 16.
    at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
    Louise Balliet at 167 South Avenue.
    Mr. Winter had been ill for the past
    four weeks.
    The deceased was born February
    18,1855 and lived near Franzburg,
    Germany, for 26 years previous to
    his arrival.in this country: He was

    a resident of this community and
    near vicinity for 67 years. Most of
    his life had been devoted to farming.
    His membership in St. Paul's Lutheran
    Church dates back to 1902. and
    In former years he was a faithful and
    active church worker.
    Surviving are two daughters. Mrs.
    Emma Graupman and Mrs. Louise
    Balliet of Hilton: one son. William
    Winter of Clarkson: nine grand-children
    and eleven great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held from his late
    homo at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon.
    March 18. and at 2:30 from St. Paul's
    Lutheran Church. Interment will be
    in Parma Union Cemetery.
