    NIAGARA FALLS — Carl A. Reisig, a lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 5, 2012, while at home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 75.

    He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on April 18, 1936, the son of Carl Frederick and Dorothy (Wingert) Reisig. He attended local schools and graduated from the former LaSalle Junior/Senior High School, class of 1954. Carl served in the Air Force Reserves and active duty Air Force. He was employed by Niagara Mohawk as a supervisor of real-estate, retiring in 1992 after 37 years.

    A lifetime member of Grace Lutheran Church, he served the Lord in various capacities including Sunday School teacher, elder, trustee and choir member. Carl believed "that life in Jesus Christ is the greatest gift you could ever receive."

    Survivors include his beloved wife of 55 years, Anna Helene (Kromer) Reisig; four children, Linda (Robert) Dean of Vestal, NY, David (Sharon) Reisig of Rochester, Gary (Debbie) Reisig of Wheatfield, Robert (Kelly) Reisig of Hilton, NY; two sisters, Jeanette (late Harry) Schisler, Dorothy ((Joel) Kew of Lewiston; 11 grandchildren, Becky, Kari, Jena, Bobby, Karl, Sarah, Laurel, Connor, Tyler, Karli and Jake; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 PM and Wednesday from 1-3 and 6-8 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. Funeral services Thursday 10 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 716 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls, with Rev. Matthew Sorenson officiating The interment will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Town of Wheatfield. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Memorial Fund at Grace Lutheran Church in Carl's memory.

    Anna ”Helene” (Kromer) Reisig, of Niagara Falls, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 2, 2019 at her home after a long illness. She was born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania on April 29, 1936, a daughter of Harry P. and Theda B. (Armstrong) Kromer. She was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and worked retail for many years at Osh Kosh clothing store. She was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church participating in choir membership and always had a line of people waiting for a slice of her homemade pizza at the various church functions and fund raisers.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Carl A. Reisig in February of 2012 after 55 years of marriage.
    Helene is survived by her children, Linda (Robert) Dean of Vestal, NY; David (Sharon) Reisig of Rochester; Gary (Debbie) Reisig of the Town of Wheatfield; Robert (Kelly) Reisig of Hilton, NY; grandchildren, Becky, Kari, Jena, Bobby, Karl, Sarah, Laurel, Connor, Tyler, Austin, Karli and Jake; eight great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her siblings, Harry Kromer; Norman Kromer; Alvin Kromer; Alice (Howard) Bender and Patricia (Jack) Baer.
    Family will be present on Friday, December 6 2019 1-3PM & 5-7PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 7 2019 10AM in Grace Lutheran Church, 736 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls. The interment will be in St. Matthew’s Cemetery.
    If desired, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.

    and Mrs. Joel (Dorothy) Keu,
    Niagara Falls.
    Mr. Reisig is also survived
    by two brothers, Edwin and
    Leonard Reisig in Buffalo, and
    four .sisters,. Mrs. Florence
    Ganschou, Springville;. M r s .
    Elsa Ganschou and Mrs. Esther
    Luce of Buffalo: and Mrs. Ruth
    Rogosch, Cleveland, Ohio: 18
    grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
    Funeral services will be held
    Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grace
    Lutheran Church. The Rev. A.
    W. Moldenhauer of St. Mathews
    Church in North Tonawanda
    will officiate. Interment will
    be in St. Mathew's Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the Lane
    Funeral Home from 2 to 5 p;m.
