North Tonawanda, unexpectedly
Tuesday (July 24, 1956) at her'
home. A lifelong North Tonawanda
resident, she is survived by her
husband, Adalbert; six sons, Gordon
in the Air Force, Vernon with
the Marines and Frederick, Karl.
Robert, Dennis and Matthew, all
of the Tonawandas; four daughters,
Mrs. John (Mary) Jackson of
Niagara Falls, Mrs. Williard (Margaret)
Stanton of Tonawanda and
Dorothy Jean and Patricia Bennett,
both of North Tonawanda;
her .mother, Mrs. Mary Batka of
North Tonawanda; two sisters,
Helen Batka and Mrs. John (Ann)
Putz, and two brothers, John and
Stanley Batka, all of the Tonawandas.
Services will be at 2 p.m.:
Friday at Niagara Memorial Chapels,
Inc., 549 Oliver St., the Rev.
William Saye officiating. Burial
; will be in White Chapel Memorial
Park Cemetery.

Bennett, 77, of 95 Genesee St.,
Buffalo, died Monday evening
(Sept. 19, 1966) at his residence.
Mr. Bennett is survived by two
sons, Adelbert V. of North Tona-
wanda and Kenneth of Brock-
port, N.Y.; two daughters,
mrs. marjorie Slack of North
Tonawanda, and Mrs. John R.
(Fern) Kenney of Tonawanda;
two brothers, Walter of Lockport
and Raymond of Brockport; 21
granschildren and several great-
grandchildren. Friends may call
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at
the Hilliard Funeral Home, Inc.,
147 Delaware St., Tonawanda,
where services will be conduct-
ed Thursday at 11 a.m. The Rev.

Presbyterian Church, will offici-

Bennett, 78, of 266-F Gibson St.,
Tonawanda, died Monday (July
17, 1967) in DeGraff Memorial
Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in North Tonawanda, she
had been a resident of the Tonawandas
all her life. Survivors include
a daughter, Mrs. John
(Fern) Kenney of Tonawanda;
two sons, Adelbert V. of North
Tonawanda and Kenneth G. Bennett
of Brockport, N. Y.; four
brothers, Philip and Walter Helf
of Tonawanda, Arthur of Washington,
D.C., and William Helf
of California. She is also survived
by 19 grandchildren and 25
great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. at John 0, Roth
Funeral Home, Morgan and William
Streets, Tonawanda, where
services will be conducted at
1:80 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev.
Kenneth E. Miller. Burial will be
in City Cemetery.

Carl Batka, 37 years old, 892
Oliver street, died yesterday at
the DeGraff Memorial hospital.
He is survived by a wife, Mary;
two sons, John and Stanley, and
three daughters, Margaret, Helen
and Anna, all of North Tonawanda.
The funeral will be heid
Friday morning at 8:30 o'clock
from the residence and half an
hour later from the Polish Catholic
church on Oliver street.
Burial will be at the St. Francis
cemetery.

Adelbert Bennett's funeral services
were held at his home in Albion and at
the church Tuesday, May 14, at 2 p. m.,
Rev. 0. R. Newman of Gaines officiating.
Burial iu Sandy Creek cemetery.
Mr. Bennett had a shock about
a year ago, and death was caused by
another one on Friday.
