TONAWANDA - Kathy Ann (nee Byrd) Warblow, age 45, of Tonawanda, unexpectedly, June 13, 2012 in Buffalo General Hospital. Kathy worked as a Regional Manager for Jackson Hewitt. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, the Frontier Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, and a past member of the Eagles Club Aerie #1411. Kathy loved the outdoors, spending time with her grandchildren, photography and sports. Beloved wife of Douglas Warblow; mother of James (Bethany White) Warblow of Randolph, NY and Beth (Omean) Collins of Niagara Falls. Grandmother of Tanner, Raina, Ethan, Lillee, Omean Collins, Jr., and Tabyis Collins. Daughter of Betty Byrd and the late Donald Byrd. Sister of Joseph (Tricia) Byrd of North Tonawanda and the late Kenneth and David Byrd. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 AM. The Rev. David Beutel will officiate. Interment in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery.

Betty Jane Byrd (Foster) age 81 of South Valley, NY formerly of North Tonawanda, March 28, 2019 in Roswell Park Cancer Inst. Betty was a lifetime member of the Frontier Volunteer Fire Co. and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Arie 1411. She was the wife of the late Donald Byrd. She is survived by her long-time companion Eugene Heinrich. Beloved mother of Joseph (Tricia) Byrd and the late Kenneth Byrd, Kathleen Warblow, and David Byrd. Grandmother of 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Joseph Foster. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and on Saturday from 2-4 P.M. Lester H. Warblow, 92, formerly of Pine Street, North Tonawanda, died Saturday (Dec. 5, 1998) in Crestwood Health Care Facility, Wheatfield, where he had been a patient since May 21, 1997.
Warblow was born in North Tonawanda. He worked for the New York Central Railroad from 1923 to 1971. He was a member of Local 36, Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen.
After his retirement, Warblow spent much of his time refinishing furniture and caning chairs.
He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda, and the Lutheran Laymen's League.
Survivors include a son, David; a brother, Glenwood; and a sister, Arlene Harms, all of North Tonawanda; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Redeemer Lutheran Church, Thompson and Falconer streets, North Tonawanda. Burial will be in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield.
