Mrs. Charles D. Boughton an-
nounced the engagement of her
niece, Miss Barbara Banta, to Mat-
thew Gracey II, at a cocktail party
given Saturday at The colony, Del-
ray Beach, Fla.
Miss Banta is the daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A
Banta of Newfane and granddaughter
of the late Rollin S. Ban-
ta. Buffalo. She was graduated
from Lockport High School and
has spent several seasons at The
Colony.
Mr. Gracey is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Frank P. Gracey of Delray. He
was graduated from Georgia School
of Technology and was a major
in the United States Army. Mr.
Gracey is in the realty firm of
Gracey Brothers in Delray Beach.
