    suddenly Wednesday (July 16,
    1975) at his home. Born in
    Pennsylvania, he resided in
    North Tonawanda for most of
    his life. He was an employee of
    Veteran's Administration
    Hospital, Buffalo and a World
    War n Army Air Force
    veteran.
    Son of the late Samuel and
    Martha Barber, Mr. Barber is
    survived by one brother, Fred
    (Bessie) Barber of North
    Tonawanda; four sisters, Mrs.
    Theodore (Christine) Cicero of
    Niagara Falls, Mrs. Elizabeth
    Zimmerman, Mrs. Gerald
    (Margaret) Perry and Mrs.
    Deminic (Nellie) DeMart, all
    of North Tonawanda, also
    surviving are several nieces
    and nephews.
    Funeral services will be
    conducted at 9 a.m., Saturday
    (July 19th) from the Larango-
    Pawenski Funeral Home, 652
    Oliver St., (Cor. 5th Ave.)
    North Tonawanda. A Mass of
    Christian Burial will be offered
    at 9:30 a.m., in Ascension
    Church. Interment in Mt.
    Olivet Cemetery. The family
    will receive friends from 2 to 4
    and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and
    Friday. Vigil prayers will be
    recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at
    the funeral home.

    had resided in North
    Tonawanda for the past 42
    yeafs. Husband of the late
    Martha (nee Guilyard) Barber
    and brother of the late
    Catharine Guido. A retired
    employe of the Buffalo Steel
    Corp., he was a member of the
    Grand Order of the Sons of
    Italy, Lodge No. 188, DuBois.
    He is survived by two sons,
    Fred (Bessie) Barber of North
    Tonawanda, Louis Barber at
    home; four daughters, Mrs.
    Theodore (Christine) Cicero of
    Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Mrs. John
    (Elizabeth) Zimmerman, Mrs.
    Gerald (Margaret) Perry and
    Mrs. Dominic (Nellie) DeMart;
    all of North Tonawanda; 14
    grandchildren, and nine greatgrandchildren;
    one brother,
    Carmen Barber of Rochester,
    N.Y.; one sister, Mrs. Mary
    Pease of Buffalo; several nieces
    and nephews also survive.
    Services will be conducted
    Thursday, March 11, at 9 a.m.
    from the Pawenski Funeral
    Home, 652 Oliver St. (corner
    Fifth Ave.), North Tonawanda,
    and at 9:30 a.m. from Ascension
    Church. Interment in Mt. Olivet
    Cemetery. Family will receive
    friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
    p.m.

    Survivors include her hus-
    band, Samuel Barber; two sons,

    Noagara Falls and Mrs. John
    (Elizabeth) Zimmerman,
    James (Margaret) Perry.

    Prayers will be said at 8:30
    a.m. Friday at the skomski
    Funeral Home, followed by a
    requiem Mass at 9:00 in
    Ascension Church. Burial will
    be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
    Friends may call from 2 to
    4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral
    home.
