NORTH TONAWANDA — Florence A. Broecker (nee Schwinger), age 94, of North Tonawanda, June 29, 2012 in Northgate Manor Nursing Home, while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Florence was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. She had worked for Helf's and Mississippi Muds for 31 years. She loved camping, boating and doing word puzzles.
She was the wife of the late Nelson Broecker, who died 1n 1999. Beloved mother of Barbara (Albert) Stellmacher and Sandra (Eugene) Martin, both of North Tonawanda, and Ronald Broecker of Milton, FL. Grandmother of Kevin Martin, Bonnie Ramirez, Joanne Ruff, Janet Pattison and the late Ronald Martin and David Stellmacher. Great-grandmother of Tina, Katie, Maria, Nicholas, Danielle and Kaitlyn. Sister of Robert Schwinger, June (Robert) Manning and the late Betty Taboni, Marlene Hanna and Leonard Schwinger; aunt of several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver Street at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda, on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30 AM, the Rev. Gregory Schultz will officiate. Interment in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery.
