George H. Barber, 67, of
8011 Porter Road, died Sunday
(April 8, 1962) at Memorial
Hospital.
Mr. Barber had been in ill
health for a long time but
suffered an apparent heart attack
Sunday.
Born in Niagara Falls, he
had worked in the 0lin
Mathieson maintenance de
partment for 33 years until
his retirement four years ago.
He had formerly lived in the
Town of Niagara for 23 years.
Mr. Barber was a member
of Niagara United Presbyterian
Church.
Survivors include two sons,
Edwin G. Barber and James
H. B a r b e r ; a sister, Mrs.
Frieda Chase; two brothers,
John and Roy Barber, all of
this city. Also surviving are
f o u r grandchildren a n d 3
great-grandchildren.
Rev. William Devine will
conduct services at 1 p.m.
Wednesday at the Magaddino
Memorial Chapel. Burial, will
be in Riverdale Cemetery.

George married KEISER, Grace about Sep 1915 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. Grace was born about 1898 in New York; died on 17 May 1956 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Funeral services for Mrs. Grace
Bsrber, 58, of 8011 Porter Rd.,
will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at
the Magaddino Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Barber died Thursday (May
17, 1956) in Buffalo General Hospital
after a long illness. She had
resided here for 40 yeas.
Surviving are her h u s b a n d,
George H. Barber; two sons, Edwin
G. and James H. Barber; two
sisters, Ms. Peter Reitmulder, Pekin
and Nellie, in New Jersey;
three brothers, Orrie DeBake in
Florida, Cornelius DeBake in New
Jersey and. Charles Keiser in New
Jesey; and four grandchildren.
The Rev. William J. DeVine will
officiate. Burial will be in Riverdale
Cemetery.

John married WOOLCUTT, Alfretta about 1892. Alfretta (daughter of WOOLCUTT, George and Elizabeth) was born in May 1872 in Canada; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
