    The Wilson Methodist church was
    the scene of a lovely Spring wedding
    on Saturday afternoon at 2:30,
    when Miss Verna Louise Oldenburg,
    niece of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Donner
    of Wilson, and Whitney E. Barnum,
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred F.
    Barnum of Wilson, were united in
    marriage by the Rev. John F. Leffler.

    The church was beautifully decorated
    wiht Easter lillies, palms, snapdragons
    and other Spring flowers.
    Lohengrin's Wedding March was
    played by Miss Julia Stevens.
    The bride, who was given tn marriage
    by her uncle. Ernest Donr.tr,
    wore a gown of white val ray fashioned
    on princess lines with a train
    and finger-tip length veil. She wore
    a lovely cameo necklace, a gift of
    the groom, and carried a colonial
    bouquet of white carnations and
    daisies.
    The maid of honor. Miss Eloise J
    Smith, wore a gown of pink val ray
    and a pink shoulder veil. She carried
    a mixed colonial bouquet
    Franklin J. Oldenburg, brother of
    the bride, was best man and ushers
    were Frederick Barnum, brother of
    the groom, and Frederick Oldenburg,
    brother of the bride.
    The bride's aunt, Mrs Ernest
    Donner, wore black trimmed with
    rose and white and Mrs. Barnum,
    mother of the groom, wore navy
    blue trimmed with white. Both wore
    corsages of pink sweet peas
    Following the ceremony, a recep-
    tion for relatives and .friends was
    held at the home of the bride.
    Twelve were seated at the brides
    table which was covered With ° linen
    table cloth and centered with a
    three-tiered wedding cake. The waitresses
    were Jeanette Donner, Eleanor
    Donner, Annabefte Qarahaw, Helen
    Stevens and La Verna Munch.
    The bride's traveling costume was
    a navy blue redingote with red accessories.
    The couple left for .an
    extended wedding trip.
    Guests were present from North
    Tonawanda. Lockport, Niagara Falls,
    Ithaca, and surrounding towns.
    Pre-nuptial events included a dinner
    at the home of Miss Julia Stevens:
    a crystal shower given by Mrs.
    Herbert Jacobs; yellow and blue
    bathroom shower given by Mrs. El- ;

    wyn Upton at the home of Mrs. Burt
    Israel.
    A dinner and variety shower given,
    by Miss Loraine Mohlar at Hy-Gate-
    Manor; a variety shower by Mrs.
    Fred Ganshaw; a shower by Maple
    Rebekah lodge; a pantry shower by
    Mrs. Frank Oldenburg of North Tonawanda;
    a rainbow kitchen shower
    and luncheon by Miss Eloise
    Smith and a variety shower by the
    Warren's Corners grange
