    Dolores E. Baronich, “Dolly” 89, (nee Bush) of North Tonawanda died on February 2, 2023 after a brief illness. Wife of the late Steve Baronich. Loving mother of Susan (John) Belczak, Nancy (Gene) Zuro, Carol (James) Wentz, Mary (Vincent) Guerra and William (Lisa) Baronich. Proud grandmother of Kristy (Scott) Drabek, Ashley Selevchuk, Zachary Baronich and the late Nicole Zuro. Loving Great-grandmother of Eli Selevchuk and Haley Drabek. Sister of the late Shirley Stockburger and Wilbert Bush. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
    Friends received by the family on Sunday February 12, 2023 from 12 – 2 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda where a time to remember will be held at 2:00 p.m. Please bring a good memory to share. A private interment will be held at Acacia Park Cemetery.


    Dolly worked as a Culinary Chef for several restaurants in the area. She worked with her son at Kristy’s Kafe on Oliver Street and owned Dolly’s Catering. She also worked at Goerss’s Dairy and made the best Hot Fudge Sundae’s in the world. Dolly was a Foster Mom to three children. She received her Associates Degree at the age of 56 from NCCC and was the only woman in the WNY Chef’s Association.  She also was a Dietitian at St. Francis Hospital working with the Sisters.  Dolly traveled to her favorite state of Hawaii 6 times. She was also a Girl Scout leader at Shady Hollow.  She loved to sew and made several colorful quilts for her family.    Dolly was the world’s best “Grandma Dolly” and enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking up a storm. She enjoyed being the life of the party. She will be missed.

    The bodice of the bride's gown

    was fashioned with a sweetheart
    neckline of illusion and her lace
    sleeves ended in points upon the
    wrists. Her fingertip veil of nylon
    illusion was caught to a crown of
    seed pearls. She carried white roses,
    carnations and mums centered
    with a white orchid.
    Miss Shirley Bush was maid of
    honor for her sister and the bridesmaids
    were Miss Dorothy Baronich
    and Miss Helen Denk
    Lace bodices and flowing skirts

    of net and taffeta fashioned their
    gowns. Barbara Porter, in pink,
    was flower girl.
    Robert Baronich, brother of the
    bridegroom, was best man. Edward
    Stockburger and C h e s t e r
    Spoth ushered.
    A blue lace costume accented
    with white accessories and pink
    roses was worn by the bride's mother.
    Mrs. Baronich favored an
    aqua ensemble and yellow roses.
    A reception was given at the

    Wendelville Fire Hall with 200 in
    attendance. Guests came f r om
    Pennsylvania, Toronto and Buffalo
    as well as the Tonawandas. .
    Travelling to Atlantic City and
    New York City, the bride was attired
    in a navy blue suit with white
    accessories and a white orchid.
    The newlyweds are now at home
    in 388 Main St., Tonawanda.
    Shower hostesses included Miss
    Shirley Bush, Miss Helen Denk,
    Mrs, Eugene Hoffman and Mrs.
    Eyra Hoffman.

    She was the wife of William Bush.

    WURL – William F. Wurl, 81, Tuesday (June 26, 1956) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in North Tonawanda, he had lived there most of his life before moving to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Ziehl of Klemer Rd., Town of Wheatfield, four years ago. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod) and was employed in the area during his lifetime. Other survivors include a son, Elmer; another daughter, Mrs. Norman Bush, both of North Tonawanda; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred of Bergholtz and Gerhardt of North Tonawanda, and three sisters, Mrs. Ada Burrows of Hamburg, Mrs. Benjamin Toellner of the Town of Wheatfield and Mrs. Edwin Leberenz of North Tonawanda. Friends may call at the home of Mrs. Ziehl, Klemer Rd., where services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. Paul Fretthold officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
