    At the residence of Hubbard Tuthill In
    Ava, July S, occurred the marriage of
    their daughter Mae to Archie L. Borch of
    Northwestern. Precisely at 12 m. the
    bride and groom, attended by the bride's
    sister, Miss Etta Tuthill, and Seymour
    Barringer, matched in, to the strains of
    Mendelssohn's Wedding March, played
    by Mrs I. G. Burch of Lowville, and took
    their places under an evergreen arch In
    the front parlors, where they were legally
    made husband and wife by Rev. A. J.
    Cottrell of Delta. The groom was dressed
    in conventional black and the bride was
    very tastily attired in pale blue silk
    Lansdowne, trimmed In mousselin de
    sole with pearl buckles. She car
    rled white roses. About twenty-five of
    the immediate friends were present and
    showed their appreciation of the bride
    and groom by numerous costly and beautiful
    gifts, consisting of silverware, Havi
    land china, linen and a generous purse of
    money from toe bride's parents. ° fine
    dinner was served. The contracting
    parties are well known and popular young
    people, who enter upon the journey of
    life together followed by the best wishes
    of their many friends. After a short
    wedding trip in the northern part of the
    state the newly wedded pair will take up
    their residence at the home of the groom
    at Leila.
