    and Rehabilitation
    Center. Boonville. He was
    born on July 21. 1914. a
    son of the late Spencer
    and Bessie Megerell Hartson
    and was educated in
    Western schools.
    Harry was united in a
    lifelong marriage to
    Eleanor Barringer on
    July 23. 1986. at the Ava
    Methodist Church. He
    owned and operated a
    dairy farm on the Hartson
    homestead in West
    Branch for oyer. 40 years.
    He was a member of Lee
    Center United Methodist
    Church, Lee Democratic
    Club. Evergreen Cemetery
    Association. ° Lee
    Unity Seniors- Citizens,
    an honorary member of
    Lee Center Fire Compa;
    ny, and. served for many
    years as a trustee on the
    Western School Board.
    Harry loved the outdoors,
    especially hunting,
    fishing, and rides in
    the country. He enjoyed
    sharing his many stories
    with friends and families..
    . Harry is survived by
    h i s ' wife. Eleanor: a
    daughter and son in-law,
    Marilyn and Clarence
    Yocum of Floyd: nine
    grandchildren. James
    Yocum, Floyd. Sandra
    Yocum. New Hartford.
    Thomas. (Laura) Yocum.
    Marcy. Kathleen (Jack)
    Theall. Rome. David
    (Bernadette) Flint,
    Andrea Weeks, Theresa
    (James) Webster. William
    (Lori) Flint, and Robert
    (Carrie) Flint, all of Ava:
    13 great-grandchildren,
    Joel and Sydney. Yocum.
    LeighAnn Weeks. John,
    Daniel and Jerina Theall.
    Keith. Kyle and Kaitliri
    Flint. Nicholas and
    Matthew Webster. Kelsey
    and Alexis Flint: a sister-in-
    law, Theima Gleasman.
    Las Vegas, NV: and .
    several nieces and
    nephews. He was. predeceased
    by a. daughter
    Shirley Flint and a'greatgranddaughter.
    Ashley Webster.
    Funeral services were
    held on Sunday. November
    28, at 1 p.m. from the
    Barry Funeral Home, 807
    West Chestnut Street.
    Rome. Interment was in
    Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives
    and friends called
    at. the funeral home on
    Saturday from 1-4 p.m.
    Memorial contributions
    may be made to the
    Sunset Nursing Home
    Activities Department.
    Lee Center Volunteer Fire
    Department, of Lee United.
    Methodist Church.

    Ava, July 25-Miss Eleanor Barringer,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    Seymour Barringer, and Harry
    Hartson, son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Spencer Hartson, were married at
    Hilltop M. E. Church on Thursday
    at 10 a. m., by the Rev. Walter
    Suits pastor.
    Misa Alberta Hartson, sister of
    the bridegroom, was bridesmaid
    and Wallace Barringer, brother of
    the bride, was best man.
    The bride wore pink organdie
    with matching hat and slippers and
    carried pink roses and baby's
    breath. Her attendant wore yellow
    organdie and carried yellow roses.
    The bride is a graduate of
    Boonville High School, the Teachers'
    Training Class and of Cortland
    Normal School. She has been
    a teacher In the local schools. The
    bridegroom is a successful farmer.
    After a short trip, Mr. and Mrs.
    Hartson will reside in this village.
