    LOCKPORT — Marie L. Maslowski passed away on July 26, 2012 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born in Niagara Falls on August 15, 1914, she was the daughter of Alexander and Katherine (Klos) Walezak.

    Marie worked as a clerk in the production department at Harrison Radiator for many years. She traveled world-wide with the UAW Travel Club. She was also a member of the Camera Club, Organ Society, many different garden clubs. She loved her roses and African violets. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Walter Maslowski in 1975.

    Marie is survived by her son, Walter (Judith) Maslowski of Key West, Florida: grandmother of Rebecca (Nick) Pietruszka of Boca Raton, Florida and Stephen Maslowski of Oak Creek, Wisconsin; great-grandmother of Grace, Jane and Elyse Pietruszka; sister of Helen Walezak of Tonawanda, NY and the late Felix (late Helen) Walezak of Niagara Falls. She is also survived by her dear nieces and nephews and their families and many cousins and friends.

    A Memorial Mass in memory of Marie will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St. Lockport at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Cold Springs Cemetery.

    Born in Poland, she came to
    Niagara Falls in 1912 She was
    a member of the Apostolic
    Prayer and Friendly Clubs,
    both at Holy Trinity Church.
    She is survived by two
    daughters, Mrs. Walter (Marie)
    Maslowski, of Lockport; Mrs.
    Helen Ensminger. of this city;
    a son, Felix Walezak. also of
    this city; two sisters, Mrs.
    Louis (Sophie) Grendisa, of
    Lockport; Mrs. Mary Rokosz,
    of Poland; a brother, Matthew
    Klos, of Poland; six grandchil-
    dren and six great grandchil-
    dren.
    Funeral services will be 9:15
    a.m. Wednesday at the Chester
    G. Tubinis Funeral Home, at
    10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church.
    Burial will be at St. Patrick's
    Cemetery, Lockport.
    A Recitation of the Rosary
    will be held at 8 p.m. Monday.
    Friends may call at the funeral
    Home Monday and Tuesday, 2
    to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
