    Miss Rose Ritz and Clayton Roy
    Bars were united in marriage
    April 26 at 10 in the morning in
    St. Anthony's Church by the Rev.
    John Richards. Attractive arrangements
    of white snapdragons and
    chrysanthemums enhanced t h e
    chancel for the ceremony.

    Ritz are the parents of tilt
    bride The groom's parents are
    Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bars, Kinne
    Rd.
    Salvatore Ritz gave his sister in
    marriage She wore a white rosepoint
    lace gown over silk taffeta
    with fitted bodice, wing collar,
    long pointed sleeves and full floorlength
    skirt with scalloped edge
    trimmed with iridescent sequins
    and rhlnestones.
    Her fingertip veil of Illusion fell
    from a pill box trimmed with sequins
    and rhinestones She carried
    a cascade bouquet of white
    carnations centered with pink
    rosebuds.
    ATTENDS SISTER
    As her only attendant, the bride
    chose her sister. Mrs. Elizabeth
    Stanton. Kenmore. as matron of
    honor. She wore an orchid nylon
    chiffon gown over taffeta complemented
    by a matching picture hat.
    She carried a cascade bouquet of
    yellow carnations.
    Majorie Stanton, niece of the
    bride, was flower girl. She wore a
    yellow nylon organdy dress with
    matching flowered headband Her
    miniature- cascade bouquet was of
    pink and white carnations.
    Richard Bars, brother of the
    groom, acted as best man. Ushering
    duties were performed by
    Robert Micoll. nephew of the bride
    and Jack Bars, another brother of
    the groom. Jerald Ritz. nephew of
    the bride, was ring bearer.
    George Hoenig, church organist.
    played the wedding music.
    For her daughter's wedding.
    tbo bride's mother chose an orchid
    lace dress over taffeta with
    white accessories. She wore a yellow
    rosebud corsage. The groom's
    mother favored a navy suit with
    navy accessories and a pink rosebud
    corsage.
    RECEPTION TO 400
    The wedding breakfast was
    served to 100 guests at the American
    Legion Hall Four hundred
    guests attended the reception at
    the same hall where the bride's table
    was centei ed with a fourtiered
    wedding cake, topped with
    a miniature bride and groom.
    As the couple left for a trip to
    the Florida Keys, the bride was
    wearing a beige sheath dress, orange
    accessories, white topper and
    a corsage of white carnations. On
    their return, they will make their
    home on South Transit Rd.
    Both the bride and groom were
    graduated from Lockport Senior
    High School. The groom served
    two years with the U. S. Army.
    Pre-noptial events included a
    variety shower given by Mrs.
    Margaret Grottanelli, Mrs Laura
    Micolt, Mrs. Elizabeth Stanton.
    Mrs. Dorothy Ritz. and Mrs. Mary
    Lou Ritz at the American Legion
    Hall. Mrs. Thelma Whaley entertained
    at dinner for the bride
    The rehearsal party was held at
    the home of the bride's sister.

    LOCKPORT-Mrs. Margaret
    Ritz Grottanelli, 68
    Ontario St., died Sunday (Sept.
    22, 1963) at home.
    Mrs. Grottanelli was born
    Jan. 25, 1895 in Italy, daughter
    of Loretto and Elizabeth
    Trippi Rizzuto. She came to
    Loekport when she was four
    years old and lived here ever
    .since. She was a member of
    St, Patrick's Church, the St.
    Lucy Society and the Immaculate
    Conception Society.
    Survivors include her husband,
    Elmer Grottanelli. three
    daughters. Mrs. Philip Micoli.
    Mrs. Clayton Bars, both of
    Loekport, and Mrs. Joseph
    Stanton, of Buffalo; two sons.,
    Salvatore and Roy Ritz, both
    Lockport; four stepsons, Ser-
    afino Grottanelli of Hamburg,
    N.Y., Ronald G. and Dominic;
    Grottanelli, both of Loekport.
    port, Peter Grottanelli, of Cal-
    ifnornia; three step daughters,
    Mrs. John Sammarco, Mrs.
    JoJhn Burke and Mrs. Rich-
    ard Miller all of Loekport;
    two brothers, Roy and Samuel
    Ritz, both of Lockport; and a
    sister, Mrs. Laura Gagliardi,
    of Loekport; 16 grandchildren,
    18 step-grandchildren and four
    great-grandchildren.'
    Services will be held at
    Prudden and Kandt funeral
    Home at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
    A Requiem Mass will be cele-
    brated at 9 a.m. at St. Pat-
    rick's Church.
