The father of a Wilson woman,
John F. Bartel Jr., 69. of 63
Rumbold Avenue, North Tonawanda,
died Saturday (July 6.
1983) at the DeGraff Memorial
Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Bartel was employed as a
carpenter in North Tonawanda
for some 40 year« prior to retiring
four years ago.
His wife, the former Jennie Cramer,
died in 1959.
Surviving are four daughters,
Mrs. Harold Smith of Wilson;
Mrs. Arthur Maerten of Tonawanda;
Mrs. James Schafff of
North Tonawanda and Mrs. Neil
Barbour of Phoenix, Ariz.; 12
grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
Friends may call at the Hamp
Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and
Seymour Streets, Tonawanda,
where funeral services will be
held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
Burial will be in St. Mathew's
Cemetery, Town of Wheatfield.

died in March, 1959. Surviving

Phoenix, Ariz. Twelve grandchildren
and four great - grandchildren
also survive. Friends may
call at Hamp Funeral Home Inc.,
Adam-Seymour Streets, Tonawanda,
where services will be Tuesday
at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. A. W.
Moldenhauer will officiate. Burial
will be in St Matthew's Cemetery.

LOCKPORT, Oct. 25-The funeral
of Mrs. Caroline Bartel, 80, widow of
John Bartel. 28 Walnut street, who
died yesterday at the Lockport City
hospital, will be held Friday at 2
p.m., at the Hemp funeral home at
North Tonawanda. Interment will
be In St. Matthew's cemetery, Niagara
Falls boulevard.
Mrs. Bartel was born In Germany
but had resided in this country for
74 years. She was a resident of the
Tonawandas before coming here. A
son, John Bartel, of North Tonawanda,
survives
